After over a year on the watchlist I've just bought 3.5k shares here. QE3 just announced with bank of England should see a bull run in the markets if it has the desired effects. Over a fortnight ago this company announced an increase of 120% in boepd in H1 2011 from H1 2010. Revenue up 140% from H1 2010. Turned it's first profit in H1 this year. Profit $3 mil US Has $14 mil US in cash. All this and it's at it's 52 week low and a Market cap of just £57.2 mil. Anyway now I've put my money where my mouth is. GLA hoping for a push toward £1 soon.

Just had an alert text from TDW mid price 72.5p which is a new 52 week low here. Got to be a strong buy now. Still watching from the sidelines but getting ever closer to taking the plunge.

I think its general Market sentiment, I don't hold here but watching from the sidelines. When sentiment returns this with be above £1. Remember rises happen quicker than drops. It'll be back above £1 before you've even noticed. This is lowest I've seen it. All IMO & GL

Do you know if ATC still hold shares in here, I remember after made several offers to the board all of which were rejected they purchased shares in here, was just wondering if they still hold them or not?? I know they are still on the acquisition trail after undertaking a £12mil placing in January this year. As of yet no target has been found. I do think they are primarily looking in the USA and the UK as secondary target. Keep up the posts anyway they are read.

To me the significance of Cooch 1095 increase in stake has been massively under estimated, the fact it was at a premium to the Market price is one point but also the reason for paying the premium must install confidence for them to get a good return on their investment. Should be in the 20's on coochs investment alone as it stands for a lot.

Valerie Gooding chairman of premier farnell bought more shares in PFL today giving more confidence in the thoughts that this is oversold and the drop is being overdone. Good top up opportunity and I will continue to hold.

Nice to see the senior independent director Dennis Millard buying shares today on the back of the fall. Happy with the bounce back to 195p from a 52 week low of 184p should see 200p plus tomorrow and if more directors buy in the higher it will go possibly. Most sells today were probably due to stop losses being set below 200p.

EPS above sector average recently increased dividend more than markets expected as profits increased directors buying at 250p plus seymour pierce not so long ago had price target of 340p not so long ago was above 300p Good long term hold and will bounce back sooner than you think IMO

Directors were buying at 230p plus in the past 2-3 weeks they would have known growth was slowing and the market wasn't going to look upon it favourably. I very much doubt 150p will be seen today or in the near future. I'm inclined to agree with mulledwine, if 200p not today then tomorrow.

Sold out first thing this morning at 188.9p was expecting the retrace after such a good gain after what must be said was a good TU. Hopefully the BTC TU will be as good if not better that 1 is being well held back. May come back in if I see a good entry point before the Final Results at the end of feb which judging by rns will be good results.

They will have suffered in the run up to Christmas, shops not opening, race meetings abandoned and football matches postponed. I only know of 1 shop closure in my area, but they've opened 3 new ones in the last 6 months. They closed about 20+ in Ireland though. Gibraltar is where the online and telephone betting is based, for tax purposes. This year has seen the transition of the phone betting call centres moved to Gibraltar, from Sheffield and Leeds. Resulted in a number of staff having to take redundancy. However, it went well and the new call centre is now fully operational. The general consensus communicated is that they are still out performing our competitors, and are strong industry leaders. Also, following the VAT rise, the company has to add an extra £26 million to the bottom line of the balance sheet in 2011. Gl all

After trading this stock a few times over last 3 years & then getting back in at 128p last year then to average down at 110p then again at 62p and then piling ££££'s in at 51p I managed to sell 1st thing this morning only making a £40 loss which i was pleased with considering amount of averaging down I had to do from 128p. After yesterdays 7+% rise I thought this is my opportunity as of now almost 5% down on the day it was the right decision, 6 months from now who knows only time will tell!! Good luck to those that are still in but don't get locked in for too long you can always make up the losses elsewhere!

I should comment on struggling sp's more often if we get 2.5% rises the next day. Now past 170p onward and upward hopefully GL all
