2nd week in October....news soon regarding new contracts and refinancing of loan. Will dramatically improve the economics here.

I was offered 15k at 15.4p and didnt do it as bought more at 15.8p not so long ago so it wasn't low enough for me to load up even more. As I've said before double whammy RNS with loan refinanced and higher rate contracts agreed at Dan Balt would do me just fine :)

Well hopefully nothing will come from that £100 to £2 is one hell of a decrease and the people who would normally put £100 on wouldn't even entertain max bet of £2 some would say they would just bet it in another fashion but it will most definately be disastrous for Hills and ladbrokes.

Next week will be October, inherited contracts at Dan Balt will be coming to an end and still we haven't heard about the refinancing, maybe just maybe we will get the double whammy RNS stating new higher rate contracts agreed and new lower rate loan sorted....luvly jubbly :)

Well they'll only give me 15.04p for £1k worth and I can buy £5k worth at just over 16.4p well below the bid for sells and below the mid for buys. Tick down coming ?

Obviously everyone is different in terms of what is a considerable loss and what is too risky etc. my largest holding is CNR and 3 months ago I was £8k down and went to £22k profit recently, took a bit of profit and still my largest holding and the resource upgrade and other good news is still to come. As with CHAR oil exploration there is no guarantees but hopefully other prospects will come to fruition.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully you weren't too deep at too high a price. I've made my thoughts clear regarding the refinance but do confess to being no expert as only having a mortgage is about my only experience that's as close as that. Bubs - glad you dodged the bullet, it's not all about the Char drill if any other licences hit the black gold then a re-rate will be due there. I've always wanted to take a position there since it was 60p on the run up to 300p odd but missed out then on the subsequent movements I missed out. I've taken a position at 29p and will add at 25p if it gets that low. Have a good evening all

good evening hope all are well WLH - I would like us to sit here and consolidate before the next leg up, we are still massively undervalued but so are most AIM stocks lol. Hopefully some time soon we'll get and stick above 20p and then once the "Russian issue" is resolved we'll hit 25-30p and stick. Then this time next year with a refinances dan Balt and a full year under its belt with fresh contracts we'll be looking at the possibility of a dividend and be sitting at 40-50p. Obviously all easier said than done. Depending in how the Russian issue is resolved we could end up with more assets between now and then. BITB & SISYPHUS - off topic but relevant to you 2 (and possibly others) as you had / have an interest in CHAR. The s*it has temporarily hit the fan with that one, I've had it on my watch list for ages but never bought any till today at just below 30p. With oil exploration to some extents it's a stab in the dark even with all the research they do. THIS TIME they missed but if it comes good holders will be laughing, even if surrounding licences hit the black stuff they'll be laughing. Fantastic news isn't it, with all the store closures and redundancies to actually have turned a profit is brilliant. This is the first year of the three year strategy which is always going to be the most brutal with improvements made year on year. I must admit I expected losses but not as big as what was forecast so to see a profit is fantastic and shows how resilient good British companies can be in times of hardship.

Afternoon, personally think it'll be the name change. As per a previous comment I made I think it'll be a while before we hear refinancing news with potential lenders wary that current contracts are close to running down. From a PAN point of view they may get better rates if they wait for more lucrative contracts to be tied down and look for refinancing then as who wouldn't lend then the money then. Loan to value will be sufficiently low and the income generated with fresh and more profitable contracts would make us more appealing to a lender. Just my opinion

Good afternoon, you make a valid point. I think they would be reluctant to retain any sort of relationship they may have with those still in Russia as I imagine it to be just a tad bit strained and also believe buying out the Russians wouldn't feel right and there's always the worry about how above board that would be. I think they've just got to a point where they feel that European markets are easier and far more reliable in the sense of running an efficient business. The russian situation is hanging over us like a dark cloud and once all ties are cut irrelevant of its sale value, to some extent anyway, I can only see us moving forward both in terms of business strategy but also in share price. I believe the share price is where it is predominantly to the lack of clarity surrounding Russia. Have a good weekend, hope next week starts as this one finished.

A nice RNS for October would be to say that the loan has been sorted and new contracts for Dan Balt have been sorted as that's when the existing ones run out. Increased profitability and reduced costs in one RNS to get things moving.

You can not buy any quantity without going well over ask I manged to get a quote for £3ks worth at 19.9985p and thought I'd get quote for £1.5k and that came out over 20.5p. Carries on like this we'll be on the 20's today!!!!
