Nothing special 1sttime but it needed doing. The thing is if we had all took the easy option and walked away everyone would have been worse off.
I spent five months last year sleeping on a spring mattress in a dorm and living out of a suitcase. Didn’t go home and worked with the same people every day.
Yes, we did sit outside after work and have a few beers because what difference did it make.
My point about all this is everyone has suffered during lockdown and rules were in place but when people were working in close proximity all day is all this hype justified?

Well plenty were and all they have done is moan and blame everyone else for not doing enough.
I wish I could flick the switch and let the morons know what it would have been like if some hadn’t put the good of this country and the people in it before their own well-being.

I’ll admit I did vote for Boris and have always voted conservative.
I won’t vote for them again, not because of what’s happening in the news now but because of other policies that I don’t agree with.
As for the ‘party in the garden’, I think it’s being blown out of proportion by everyone who can sell a paper or claim the moral high ground.
Boris should have known better but let’s be realistic.
While most of the country sat at home getting paid these people were all working together under stressful conditions trying to keep a county functioning. Stepping outside and having a glass of wine isn’t the end of the world.
On another note.
