We are probably the lowest cost FeV producer in the world at $19 per kg.
Chinese producers have been quoted today that they won't sell below $34 per kg as its non profitable for them.
TPEP having to buy back £2.2 million pounds worth of shares in a relatively illiquid market is going to be problematic.
The MM's tame seller backing the short is having to unload substantially as PI's know what's happening and aren't selling.
The next few weeks are going to be very very interesting.

“The number of inquiries from abroad was not as many as that in the prior week, but we do not plan to cut our offer prices anymore because we’re nearing our costs and we could not do business without any profit,”

Vametco is still highly profitable at those prices with all in cost's of $19 per kg.
Especially with a 15 rand to dollar exchange rate.

The thing that I picked up on was that FM was passing Vanchem off as a done deal.

That report is wrong and needs a link.

A V205 price of $15 per lb and FeV approx $70 per kg, hits the sweet spot for me.
These are not fiquires plucked out of the air.
Nobium substitute doesn't come into play at these prices ane high pulloutent procedures, stone coal etc stay dormant.
Finance for new wannabies is harder to secure.
And it gives VRFB's the chance to get up and running in their infancy.
