The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
The only negative I can see Is covoid and deep mines are not a good mix This could be holding the finance up Otherwise it should be north of 50p easily One other thing when this share was 40p i think ecuador ranking in world index to do business was a lot higher than at the moment
I think a lot of funds cannot buy them SOLGOLD because they are not fully qualified to the all share index although they have moved out of aim they show up in white rather than orange in http://www.stockchallenge.co.uk/ftse.php
Taxi business is finished No cruise Ships no one on the trains no night clubs I would be waisting the goverments money . No investing is my new way forward And the business can do what it likes with its bounce back If you want to take it in wages you can ( may be liable for a bit of income tax ) But Nick yesterday when he had his outage convinced me He is telling the truth Biggen Hill becons for me
If it got to 50p it would lead me off a lifetime of straight and narrow I would almost certainly not be able to handle the wealth. Drink drink and more drink. and then try dancing and singing. I have no timing whatsoever
Could it be that Newcrest will make an all paper offer for cornerstone slightly above the Solgold one NM suspects this as Newcrest's best way forward This is why he was so nice about Greig Jones being brilliant He will soon be back working with him again
Every shareholder wants the highest price for their shares But if you want to eventually wrestle control from Solgold you need the share price as low as possible NM has played a blinder BHP are in pole position for a conventional take over and are keeping quiet the lower the price for them the better as at the moment 50p might well seal it in October If anyone else bids the price will be in auction as BHP will not give up Newcrest want a higher price if they are eventual sellers but i think they would like a partnership with BHP if it came at under 50p Franco is fantastic As Warren Irwin said BHP and Newcrest are going to loose this Yes imo as a cab driver its SOLGOLD on their own with franco money a bid of over a 120p maybe the chinese
Every June the great one NM gives 1% of his fortune to charity What a man yes he normally in the last few years has sold a lump of his Solgold holding to do this Or it could be cornerstone the MM just get in the correct position short term fluctuations . that sometimes last months I have been a holder for a number of years irrelevant to the share price I own a part of a future mine in ecuador that pays for itself in 3 years Much better than my house
I agree copperpot the reason the share price is so low is because the speculators are getting out NM is taking it to production against all the odds The share price is suffering because BHP and Newcrest do not want minority share holdings Risky but if NM gets the expertise to build a mine this will fly The whole situation is just far to messy for a Take over but that is what NM said and wants and has told us all along 3 years ago when we went to 27p he said it could 20 bag from here
Yes that’s correct but BHP that have done no selling or buying have fallen from 14.7% to 13.79%. But Blackrock % drop proportionately is greater 6.17% to 5.29%. Which if the RNS is correct would mean they had sold some. There no other figures in the RNS. That I can see I would be far happier if Blackrock were a buyer
Made a few enquiries with the boys Dave loftus was Steve loftus cousin Dave's mum was a single girl lived in Northam where Dave was brought up Dave had a very serious accident on a motorbike in northam and received a monster payout He brought a big place specially built for all his problems and had two full time carers for lifting him about His mum sister son was Craig David . Did you live in Northam as well cabby Big John runs Craig David brother everywhere often to nights out in Bristol Craig often settles the tap If you give your name I will try to get a message to him
Their dad owned the chemists I bought my second plate of his brother Steve Loftus 30 odd years ago I don’t know Dave. But I did know Steve had a brother who had a life changing accident. Was it on a motorbike. and knew very well some drivers who use to pop in once or twice to visit him
Thanks Skint. Yes I have been watching this site every few minutes over the last is it nearly 5 years. But I had a break for a few days as the price fell to 11p a couple of days after the cab work dried completely up in Southampton. It not nice loosing over £12000 a penny on the way down. At one point there I thought retirement for me and the lovely lady indoors might be selling the Big Issue in Bitterne. However I got a small loan to see me through coronavirus and added a few more only pennies at 13p and 16p. anyway now 41p gives me the figure I want It amazing how things change in life. and yes I am feeling confident. Good luck to everyone If it goes to 90p. I have promised to buy a Bentley get it plated and give free lifts around Southampton. Be lucky
