Ode to Leeson25 Sep 2015 08:24
The laboratory was gloomy,
the staff had all gone home.
Scott's Petri dish was dirty
he hadn't brought his comb.
As clock on wall chimed midnight
a lab door swung ajar
And there in all its terror
stood a sight beyond bizarre.
'Twas Leeson in his underclothes
Budgie-smugglers to the fore,
Wrapped around in a filthy lab coat,
He'd found on the back of a door.
"It must be in here some place",
he muttered to himself,
and gathering up the coattails,
he advanced on the nearest shelf.
Just then a creak alerted him
to the danger he was in,
and quickly turning about face
The villain barked his shin
On a bin labelled "plans afoot"
What luck for tLeeson indeed.
He scooped up the bin and made a beeline
for the exit, with all possible speed.
What came he for you may ask me,
was it secrets known only to Scott?
Or did the dastardly Leeson
have designs on a loftier plot?
