Rich - it's not at all clear what distinctions the present Chinese government makes and will make in the future between medical CBD, CBD-infused cosmetics and recreational weed, and where they will draw the line with THC content; however, you can be sure that legal highs have not a hope in hell of legalisation while the CCP is in power. I noted that in the original announcement, RP had been taking advice from lawyer firms in Kunming, Yunnan province, a centre of cultivation, and from Beijing, the seat of government. Quite where all that would have left FFWD it's difficult to say, but in any case it's now academic, given the collapse of the deal.
I can't quite get my head around what Yooya is intended to be, given Paul Snow's reference to it becoming 'a YouTube', and then the proposed but aborted attempt to use it to flog CBD cosmetics; it still seems pretty opaque, but is (or was) apparently still garnering billions of hits per month.

Regarding July 18 Termination of negotiations between Yooya and Regent Pacific, note this additional information from the formal RP announcement:

Chils is quite right in my opinion, in the balance of probability, because the algorithms that market makers use will deliberately err on the side of caution to protect them; after all, MMs are disinterested parties, not much concerned with the intrinsic worth or otherwise of a company, merely interested in eeking out a short-term profit from its movement. But that doesn't negate your argument either, Rich, because there are plenty of exceptions to this behaviour, and with news on multiple fronts due (we hope), I am looking for just such an exception to Chils' gloomy scenario in the next few weeks. .

ODONNELLS - with the best wish in the world, if you come to these online forums, you must expect no quarter, and no regard for gender, age or any other metric, and plea as you might for respect and civility, I'm afraid you will find it in short supply; that is the nature of these anonymous, online chatrooms, and while many have tried to find solutions to the problem, no-one has found a way to replicate face-to-face conversations, and all the courtesies they include. You can certainly try, and I wish you luck, but my advice is, don't be upset if you are handled roughly - it is the nature of the beast.
