Some interesting replies to date.
I don't think it's a case of any of us long termers being unaware of the potential of such holdings as Leap and Factom, our two largest holdings, more that the behind-the-scenes machinations/negotiations have been interminable, and we run out of things to say when things never seem to come to fruition. Quint impled the other day that even JM was frustrated by the slow progress, but at least he's apparently back on line. Kudos, therefore, to the Dogman for not staying in his kennel but continuing to get out and about, sniffing out and digging up the tastiest bones.
care to hazard a guess what FFWD's 45% of Leap might be worth to IMG?
I thought you WERE the patient, Chils.
I can feel a Chilpotts moment coming on again....
I agree, Quint; it's been a dismal year so far in terms of news which, although never bad, has certainly not led to any immediate and significant addition to the bottom line. That I think is what the market wants to see in these bearish times. So we sit poised at around 7, our direction in the short term dictated by the wider market, and whether we receive any timely news that will increase our NAV, modestly or dramatically.
Maybe so, Doggie, but the Company still has a window of almost eight weeks before they are obliged to file Annuals.
on my company watchlist today. Markets look like they are stabilising, so might not be a bad idea to push one out for FFWD today too. Ed, are you listening?
like to hazard a guess as to why Finals are so comparatively late this year? I can only think that we are waiting on one or more of our larger holding situations to be resolved, which should be positive for us in the medium term, but perhaps sharper minds than old Snooty's can think of other possibilities?

To Exit Cryptologic Investment Over Cannabis Business Buy.
"Fast Forward Innovations Ltd on Tuesday said it is intending to realise its investment in Cryptologic Corp after the investee signed a binding letter of...."
The rest is premium subscription, but I think the picture is clear; "realise its investment" I take to mean we'll get our money back.
It's gone anyway, at least temporarily - I'm quoted 7.185 for any amount now.
So you think past performance is a guide to future performance, in defiance of every financial website's rubric? Lol.
There's a certain amount of MM smoke and mirrors going on here too, Rich - I can't get a quote under 7 for more than 10k shares. More than 10k, I'm quoted 7.185 by IG.
If you're opening an SB, 7+ would seem a good level as things stand.
want out in a hurry, we could test all-time lows again. Out with the bank card again...
El Nino, El Trumpo - what the El?
Yeah, stick around, Chils; apart from the odd psychotic episode, you're good to have here.
Don't think we've had a stalker on this thread before. Rather creepy.
Thank you. I'll leave it to someone else to demolish this fatuous and tendentious line of argument, I'm having my tea.
Not sure how you think this is relevant to a closed-end fund whose aggregate NAV has consistently increased year by year, and will almost certainly do so again in coming weeks. Or perhaps you are simply intent on mischief.
