That's not balance, Fink, it's fantasy. Balance is extrapolating what CB has told us is happening at Manica, and comparing it to Q4 last year results. Most of us who are expecting an improvement in revenue have been at pains these last few weeks to NOT over-egg the pudding; nobody has been talking about guarantees.

And now they begin - the 'what if....' anxious posts: what if the government cancels the licence, what if Moz turns out to be a coterie of work-shy, six-stone weakling South Africans, what if Joel has run off with the petty cash box, what if CB decides to sell Manica and move to Chile? Chill, man.

We seem to have this conversation or a similar one ever couple of months. At the moment i feel that CB will want to see at least the alluvials running smoothly at planned levels and the initial, non-FB hard rock well underway. So if he is going to revert to his NEC role, I don't expect it to happen for at least another six months, possibly much longer. This project is personal for him after the JN debacle, and I think he'll want to be hands-on in the planning and execution of FB hard rock too, and in the potential expansion both locally and into Zimbabwe.

I don't think Mr Saladino would agree with you, Midas; he's prepared to pay 17.6p, and from what I see he's no mug investor.

It's certainly true that many AIM stocks do fail, but 'nearly all'?. And apart from FFWD itself, are any of our various startup investments on AIM? I view this as more diversified than your common or garden AIM stock, though it is still, by the very nature of its various investments, high risk.

I'm beginning to agree with you, Peakview - these 25k here, 27k there trades do rather look like they're for keep-the-lights-on money.

I think Midas is right - people crystallising gains or losses on the first day of the tax year. I can't think of another explanation.

Well I'm not going to argue that point, but if you hold long term you must be able to take the frustrations of days like today - repeatedly. On the other hand, if spectacular news does come along and you sell prematurely for a measly 10%, you could be kicking yourself for weeks. It's a tough one.

I think M3 is slated for rollout on Monday week, the 16th. I'm hopeful that there may be some news around that time to help with the launch, Paul Snow did say he expected to announce some news in April after Q1 proved not possible.
