I think we can agree at least that we have a rare opportunity with this stock, and that while the pregnancy has been prolonged, as is so often the way with AIM, there is every prospect that this year will prove special for holders, as one after another our investees announce major news. This is the hope of all of us, is it not? And based not on mere fanciful wishing but on some solid news and indications.

Why? Annual Results are one thing. Q1 2018 results are another, and we can expect them shortly if history is anything to go by.

We know that Moz's gold obligation for March plus their penalty for non-performance together amounts to around $140k to Explorator in Q1. Assuming these were paid, it required Sino to produce only $360m to Explorator for the three months to reach $500k for the quarter. Since Sino managed very near that while ramping up in Q4, I think it's reasonable to look upon $1/2m for Q1 as a base figure. Beyond that I wouldn't be prepared to speculate.

You are quite wrong Tom; on the contrary, most of us who have been here months and years have long since tempered our expectations for Q1. This is a slow-burning business which will reward the patient. That much has been obvious for a long time.

It was several months ago now, but I recall CB remarking that the Manica project was receiving attention from some large players possibly wanting to get involved. With increasing amounts of money being banked month on month, he is now able to negotiate from a position of strength, and while CB's communication skills may sometimes leave something to be desired, I have firmer belief in his ability to secure a favourable FB deal, particularly with the DFS in hand.

Diamond's no doubt correct, but two trades of similar size within seconds of each other are invariably not standard trades, whether B&Is or rollovers, and hence do not affect the bid/ask.
