That's certainly the way it looks, but to be certain of your individual position you really need to clarify these points with your own broker. Are you sure that when your broker talks of selling off your XEN shares on 10th January they are not just talking of the 174 shares or fewer that won't be divisible in the consolidation?

At present I believe your shares are not ISA-able after they move to US OTC so you will lose that tax advantage. As for II, I think you will have to move your shares to a broker that offers trading on the US OTC, such as I have mentioned last week in posts here. But I stress, I am not a professional, so you really do need to seek advice from II or another broker. Be assured, I don't think you will lose your holding by any default on your part, but you need to be proactive at this time. Lastly, be aware that in the Scheme document, XEN held out hope that they could arrange a temporary facility by which PIs would be able to trade XEN for a few weeks once listed on OTC. We have heard no more on that as yet so keep your eyes peeled.

It's not important who it is or what it was. GSL is just a shell that XEN is using to gain access to US markets, and thereby to capital and a better valuation than we have on AIM. The RTO makes perfect sense given that XEN's corporate offices, and partners such as Baxter and Dana-Farber, are located in the US. Expect too more news on hiring of big-hitters to complement the present management team.

Also as mentioned in Scheme documents there is a possibility XEN will set up a temporary means to trade once listed in the US. Maybe we can expect more on that once tomorrow's vote is passed.
