Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
"In the financial news tonight: Millions wiped off the value of shares today following emoji crisis... Fed and ECB move to calm panic over alleged "smirk". In a further twist, the confusion was compounded further by unsubstantiated reports from a teenager on bus claiming that 'only old farts still use emojis anyway' ."

An Ex-LGO, ex-CERP LTH here: in light of the latest RNS of the 18th, which appeared positive regarding Saffron 2 prospects etc, I'm curious to know how much "intimate" SWP operational knowledge still exists in the company at the management level, now that LK and friends have jumped ship (yes l know LK remains as an NED but my working assumption is that that means little in practical terms). Do we have reason to be confident that there is good, experienced leadership and direction on the ground making sure we play the smartest game with our not unlimited resources?
In what way?
I'm not clear how it supposedly let's them get their cars in to the EU single market whilst "avoiding [unspecified] EU beurocracy". I'd be keen to learn more.
It should be noted that we only enjoy tariff-free trade with the EU whilst we follow (but don't influence) EU single-market rules and regulations. When we lower our standards (which is the government's stated position - deregulation) our exporters will face tariffs. It's all set out in the deal.
"far more likely" may be overstating it. For a deal to be agreed Boris needs to fold on the level playing field and governance - quibbling pointlessly over fishing is a convenient smoke-screen to avoid the real hurdles to even the thinnest of deals, never mind a FTA.

Hi all
I've been following the posts here during the last few days but haven't seen (or simply missed) any discussion regarding the fate of the CERP directors. If I have understood correctly, we are losing Tony and Gordon outright, LK is becoming a "mere" NED. Stewart Ahmed - I don't know.
This seems like quite a big deal to me as we would appear to be losing much of the motivating force that drove CERP in recent years. Even if one is broadly "for" the merger, this does bother me somewhat. I think I expected more discussion on this aspect of our future. Maybe I missed it! Anyway, I'm curious to hear views.

Can sell (around 0.95p) but cannot buy.... Can't believe I'm now thinking that getting comfortably past 1p would be "good"! Crazy times.
Anyone expecting "guarantees of success" in this game at this scale should be looking elsewhere. I am deep in this too and at the current SP am frustratingly underwater (4p avg) so I'm not thrilled about thatm but whilst I don't know much about the logistics of drilling, I know enough about technical projects to know that they rarely, if ever, go as smoothly as one might hope, for the simple fact that anticipating every technical hiccup and setback along the way is almost impossible for human minds. Combine that with the uncertainties that inevitablly come with any work involving "mother nature" and it is of no surprise at all to me that any task likely takes longer than one might hope. Will the news be ultimately good, despite that? No, with the best intentions and due-diligence, it could still be a dud, or at least, disappointing. What is important is that this (Saffron, or any given effort) is not our only throw of the dice, but that we have a roadmap of opportunities and strategies to develop until one pays off. This I think is where LK's strategy is good, in that he has opened up and is developing a range of opportunities, from Goudron, to Saffron, to Suriname and others. That is, in my view, what it means to be an LTH.
Not 4p today I reckon... but soon enough. I would be happy to close out the day at this morning's 8% rise. :) The most important thing for LTAs is that gains are steady and durable!
Good to see the momentum picking up again. Underrated. Topped up again. A few days late, but am confident that won't matter too soon :)
