The problem has always been that the GOvernment is absolutely useless when it comes to making decisions about long term strategy and supporting businesses like ours. I listened to the event today - everyone there incredibly bright and clued up and Naheed the best of them giving real world experience and insights - the Pak Government guy was utterly useless, nothing to say and no clue about the subject. She said Gov support with policy, strategy could really help, they don't even need to invest any funds, but all he had to say was they were doing feasibility studies - she told him we've done the studies with the biggest company in the market already! They only have to look at what India are doing now with green hydrogen.

Hopefully with elections in ten days the new Government will get a grip and go for Thar gasification also, instead of just more feasibility studies that were already done years ago.

I've not seen the boards or social media be this fed up for a very long time - we had a lot of positivity leading up to COP but the failure there added to the lack of communication around it has really knocked everyone down. Plus with her strategy of only doing bare minimum placings while waiting for the big investors she's promised to come onboard there is always the fear of further fund raises at even worse terms.

Naheed is still plugging away but we need some news that will really drive the company forward - a signed offtake hopefully is not far away but it needs something soon or there'll be no investors left.

Well it's the first question! She emphasised that Emirates Global Aluminium are just one of the potential offtakers and the decision was delayed by them and it was them originally who wanted it announced at COP but it's not indicative of a derailment, just part of the process.

Yep I agree with all that, we have a free ride until the next stage and I imagine we are getting interest from the Super Pit operator 25km down the road, Lenigas has been very quiet about it recently but if you watch that interview it's clear he thinks this is a major and very valuable find, our 20% can be flipped for profit as soon as it's proved up.

And absolutely we need updates on our core projects, it's not acceptable in any way to raise expectations of project launch at COP 28 and then say absolutely nothing when it didn't happen.

It's the one thing I sadly have to agree with the trolls about, the comms are appalling - where's the PR company because we have anything but a consistent social media presence - these long long periods of complete silence do not build confidence

It's a real shame as COP28 is a fading memory and the expectation we all had for a major announcement that we still haven't had any comments or update from the company - now as we go into New Year we are still waiting on ANY of the projects to get across that line that makes the market sit up and listen - and with the destruction of value through the disastrous placing this I'm afraid has to go down as a bad year for the company overall.

Don't get me wrong we have a LOT to look forward to but unless they get a deal signed in the next week this year has not been great for shareholders and we are still in the dark about a lot of what is going on - we don't know what terms the gold JV will eventually be: what % will we end up with? Thar is still uncertain and what is happening with the solar project and the power plant with KE? What happened with the agreement with SUI gas? And we haven't yet been officially told anything about the Green hydrogen pilot plant what is the plan there?

There's lots to excite the market about but so much is mired in obscurity and the returns the company can expect are still not at all clear and too much is not being communicated to shareholders.

Also very surprised we've never been informed about the plans for a GH demo scale plant in an RNS - surely this is material to the project and something which the market should be informed about - we only found out by watching a presentation she did at a conference

There's been a material change from what we have been told in an RNS and what Naheed has said in interviews - she needs to update the market on what's happening and stop leaving shareholders and the market guessing this uncertainty is killing us

Lenigas tweeting again today about lithium but not a mention of the gold find apart from in the RNS - what is his game?

Still absolutely staggered there's been no social media engagement with the plethora of green hydrogen announcements during and after COP 28 such a missed opportunity

the gop can position ****stan as a green hydrogen hub by undertaking a gh2 investor forum to reach out

to potential international developers. green hydrogen investors, on the other hand, can proactively reach

out to miga for political risk guarantees.

I'm more and more thinking we could have a lot of good options for financing and big name partners for the GH project - Western nations are putting a ton of funding into low carbon projects in the developing world and they'll be looking for sound projects like ours backed by big names like Thyssenkrup - I wouldn't be surprised if there's a bit of a fight over financing and partners and a really big name will come onboard to deliver the project - hopefully soon!

There's absolutely no reason to think Naheed isn't working as hard as she can to get this deal over the line. She's obviously been ill so maybe she couldn't get to COP to finalise things in time, she should definitely tell us if that's the case and that's my only criticism - I just want a tweet or two to reassure the market that a deal is still coming as I'm sure either is!

Like it or not Naheed IS the company and nothing can happen without her - investors all know this. What we do need from her is an occasional reassuring Tweet that the deals we've been promised are in the bag and just taking time to finalise, especially when expectations have been raised

I think this underplays the progress the company has made. The GH project is in a great position to secure finance one the FEED studies etc are done - what we need is for our partners to fund the pilot plant and give us cash to complete the work, we were expecting something at COP28 and my only frustration is there has been no comment on why this didn't happen.

And we still have the huge Thar asset and the Government are still in a gas crisis!
