Hi Ed
As far as I know the small trades aren’t really trades, I’ve heard a rumour before that a certain number ment something to other MM but I don’t think that’s true but sound fiction to me. As I understand the MM wants to raise the stock price for example it’s at 0.30 but they want to raise it to say 0.35, that cud scare off buyers if they are not careful, so they say to other MM how much would you buy RMR for now, they put through a trade usually very low, that then determines whether to raise the buy price or not same with the sell, it effectively stops the share falling over or been sold too cheap, when news comes in they look at that and say that’s good new this x amount of shares I have I’ll let them be bought at a raised price, the price goes up and they prepare to sell, people come along and buy either at that or a negotiated buy so slightly less, if it’s not going too well the buy price drops, when the shares become tight and not many available they will raise the sell price wanting to buy stock from others and shareholders , it’s seem a complicated process but I’m told it’s fairly straight forward and easy, I’m no stockbroker but it does seem logical to explain the little trades
