According to Google, on the day following publication of the above article, HUR shares were trading at 30p, a premium of nearly 25 percent to its current price.

In light of the progress made by the company since then, including the fact that it is now profitable, and the further share price decline, the case for leaving AIM is surely even stronger.

I am planning to buy more myself, if the price continues falling, but the last time I bought, I paid 68.5p.

I would like to buy some more and, when the price gets back to about 240p, offload the ones I bought initially in the range 190-215p, but who knows when the price will go back up?

Malcy today writes: 'The deal increases 2C discovered resources over the GBA by 17.5 mmboe to 142 mmboe ...'

That means JOG's resources are valued by AIM at less than £0.20 per barrel.

The incompetence is that of the AIM market with its refusal to value a company in a rational way.

Here's what Malcy wrote today about JOG, its RNS today, and its prospects:

'The deal increases 2C discovered resources over the GBA by 17.5 mmboe to 142 mmboe and adds exploration opportunities and simplifies ownership ahead of a potential farm-out. Money-wise it adds $506m post tax cash flow, taking GBA to $3.17bn net to JOG and increases estimated NPV of the GBA development project to $1.15bn..'

Yet it's down again - by 8.5p to 129p - from a high of about 240p, and has a market capitalisation of £28m.

The bacterial strain I am most concerned about is the 'D' species - also known as DSPP - which is known to spread fear among HUR shareholders in particular.

I was thinking of visiting China a few years ago and read reviews of a restaurant by a river in a well-known city.
The thing that bothered me was that the staff washed the plates in the said (possibly radioactive) river.

I've put my trip there on hold indefinitely.

I got that information from this page, Double - the 'recent share trades.'
I remember someone else commenting on it at the time.
As it is, looking at the latest figures, there are 12 'after hours' trades, all of which are buys, including one for 144k and one for 770k shares.
Obviously, not everyone has 'water on the brain.'

People have already lost faith, having been taken in by DSPP's mumbo-jumbo about water cuts.
There were masses of small shareholdings showing as sells, day after day.
That is what LTHs have to contend with - unrelenting rumors that there is something fundamentally wrong with the company and that the share price correction could wipe them out.
EOG has lost 60 percent of its value in four or five trading days, mainly because a major announcing it won't be farming in, but I did a rough calculation and it's on a very low prospective P/E ratio based on expected production figures.
Just about every company here is trashed on the slightest disappointing news or just rumours.

The future of this company depends on good management, increasing profitability, and proving up of reserves.

It does not depend on anything that happens on AIM and we don't know even how much longer it will be listed on AIM.

You haven't answered my question as to why it should be felt necessary to award him 15m share options if, as you have claimed, he has come with a farm-in lined up.

I just did a quick calculation and 200 bopd could give EOG 2m pounds per year, but the doubling of production doesn't mean the share price has to double!
Assuming no tax yet (I don't know EOG's tax position) that would give a P/E ratio of 4, which is cheap, but AIM shares usually are cheap!
It certainly suggests very limited downside, assuming nothing goes wrong with production.
I have to say that a proven resource is more valuable than something like Inishkea, which is estimated to have a 1 in 3 COS, although if EOG could get enough farmouts eventually she could hit the jackpot.
The biggest obstacle seems to be the lack of enthusiasm for oil exploration / production off Ireland, not helped by the Irish themselves (although I bet the Irish would love to see successful Palestinian exploration off Gaza).

I mentioned Avalon and Inishkea, but there is one big difference between them and Barryroe: oil has flowed from Barryroe and, from what we have heard, the seismic data is very favourable.

Could you please provide some calculations?

In a note to clients Northland analyst Andrew McGeary increased his target price to 14.3p from 12p.

finnCap today reaffirms its corporate investment rating on Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) PLC (LON:EOG) and cut its price target to 14p (from 32p).

A fall of 60 percent in a few trading days makes no sense, but then it is AIM.

Some people are saying the shares are worth multiples of this on Wressle alone.
I would be interested to see their arithmetic.

Sorry, Manyana, but I can't see anything in your latest post to support your contention that AL came to PVR with a deal lined up.

Unfortunately, the news about EOG today, isn't encouraging.
No farm-out of Inishkea, the major having walked away, rather like Total walking away from Avalon.
It seems Ireland is being deserted.

If there is a deal, then that means the farminee must think there is a realistic chance of finding 1 TCF of gas.

You know, Manyana, one reason I don't buy your theory that PVR's new CEO started his new job with a farminee lined up is that if it were true, then he wouldn't have been handed options over 15 million shares.

PVR obviously think he needs a strong incentive to get a deal done.

Ps and I are speculating that SOU and partners (if they materialise) could find 1 TCF and that, together with TE-5, could result in an annual dividend of 5p.

That is, by any standard, a conservative estimate of prospects.

We are talking about 1 TCF, not 31 TCF!

You know, ps, if it's true that SOU's share of the gas from TE5 would sustain an annual dividend of 1.4p per share, and IF any subsequent finds paid out at the same rate, then an additional find of 1 TCF would sustain a dividend of 5p per annum, which over a ten-year period would amount to a return of more than 2700 percent of the present share price.

Even if the estimates are not quite right, it gives an idea of just how undervalued the shares are if the deal goes ahead.

But a CEO with a reasonable bundle of shares along with the Chairman with his 1.75m shares and options would agree for the CEO to go if a deal was dependent on a different CEO.'
