JTF reminds me of Private Frazer of Dad's Army fame, who took every opportunity to shoot Capt Mainwaring down, predicting his imminent demise, only to claim 'I was right behind you from the start!' when all ended well.

Incidentally, John Laurie, who played him, predicted that the series would be a flop, but when it became a great success claimed that he had always believed it would succeed.

I agree with JTF that he is entitled to an apology in the event that TE-10 is a failure.

The problem with conspiracy theories such as that peddled by our friend Dave is that all the geologists would have to be in on the scam - not just directors of the company or their stockbrokers.

But $10 per barrel means $1.80 per barrel to JOG, which is higher than Arden's estimate.

Aiden Partners' figures equate to $1.42 per barrel to JOG.

That seems conservative and values JOG's share of Verbier at 125 p per share.

Whenever a company's shares are vulnerable, there is a massacre and posters appear from nowhere, urging everyone to abandon ship.

I don't know any more than anyone else, but if it turns out that the 25 mmboe will be extracted and more is found after the geologists have figured out the right place to look, then the price will go back up to 200 p, the de-rampers will disappear and posters will be asking themselves why they didn't buy at bargain prices.

I think what's going on, Hank, is that the share price is being manipulated and kept lower than it otherwise might be.

As I often say, it is precisely the perverse pricing of AIM shares that provides wonderful buying opportunities.
