Well, GM67, it was many thousands of posts ago and I cannot remember now the name of the poster whom I reported.

Of course, I was right, but the company had yet to succeed in raising the necessary cash, which meant it was still a gamble.

Since then, the company has gone from success to success.

It seems more of a gamble now to bet against it being a success and unwise to wait for a much lower price before buying.

However, many of us have much lower averages, so it is easy for us to say that.

We've got a 'cousin' of Barry Blanc on JOG, who goes by the name of TriggerSaysDave.

I reported one of his posts, in which he urged everyone to sell, and it has been deleted.

Having predicted a fall to 30 p, he is now sarcastically predicting a rise to 1000 p.

He has predicted dilution, a rights issue, and collapsing share price, and makes similar remarks about lack of income.

The only difference is that he will not admit to having a short position.

It's quiet, Abatt, because we are all waiting patiently for TSD's new target price of 1000 p to be hit.

Remember, his previous target price was 30 p.

I was going to save a copy (only in order to reproduce it in the event it is proven spectacularly wrong) of TSD's latest post, in which he implored everyone to sell, because of an imminent rights issue, dilution, Armageddon etc., but it's too late: it has been deleted.

I would like to think we won't be seeing his alarmist posts in future.

My point was that the doomsters were wrong and the HUR price recovered.

Obviously, I did not claim that the JOG price has recovered.

I was suggesting that, like HUR, it could confound TSD's predictions and recover.

Your point that I have made an invalid comparison is itself invalid.

According to Google, the HUR share price was 32.5 p on 25 April 2014, almost five years ago.

The bottom, reached three years ago, was 8.85 p.

It never fell as low as 1 p.

I've been here long enough to know that whenever a company's share price slumps, there are accusations of impropriety against the company's management from disgruntled shareholders.

At the same time, one or two clairvoyants mysteriously appear, with the remarkable ability to tell the anxious holders just how much lower the price will fall, but never holding out hope of any recovery.

For example, when HUR slumped from 67 to 24, two experts appeared, predicting a fall to 16 and 17 respectively, not as opinions but as certain facts.

I bought some more (but wish I had bought much more) for 24.5.

The price never fell to 20 and the two posters vanished. It is now 45.

I think the something similar will happen with our Trigger-friendly friend Dave.

In about one billion years time, part of the sun will become so hot that it will cause such a rise in temperature on earth that no life will any longer be possible.
