I have been into BT for many years buying below 100 and selling at a high of just under 500p, at which point I had an average on my remaining shares of 5.75p.
Unfortunately on the way down I started to purchase back ,as it now turns out far too early when it went below 400p, but as usual in these circumstance only small purchases on the way down. Made about a further 10 purchases all the way down to about 100p.
Made a sale of some in June at 200p.
Although I am sitting comfortably with BT it could have been so much better without the earlier purchases from below 400p.
I have no intention of selling any this side of 200p but will possible take out short term SB's when I see an opportunity like last Friday and times before that.

No, I do not put stop losses on SB's - I had another x,xxx per point SB order waiting at 44.95 which I shall now cancel for now

Just closed for a 1.6 point gain taking a further amount off of my cost base of my shares.
Closed at what may be still be a low level, but best not to get over greedy with SB's which I take out for hopefully very short periods.

I would much rather have many many millions of more trees in the UK than many many millions of additional population which would mean the concreting over a lot more of our small isles.

They are not prejudging, they are taking small extra precautions to buy time, because they are not in possession of what the future data will reveal. You on the other hand are saying that you already know what the scientists will find out about Omicron. See the difference?.

All variants have produced mild symptoms or none in most young people, so nothing new there then.
Data needs to be collected in the coming days/weeks as the the affect on older more vulnerable people, when some of them are infected to compare with previous variants .
So stop pre judging the outcome of such data collection - leave it to the scientist of which you are not one.
If conclusions are to be that Omicron is no more severe, that still doesn't warrant your non scientific pre judgement on this board.
