I am sure though that you would prefer the share price to reflect your average price (this time around) asap.

My view is that if it would make you happier leaving your Lloyds investment at 48p, then that is what you should do.

I do wonder why though that like yourself, people are always looking for that little bit above a current price to exit, when that price they are seeking has been easily surpassed quite recently - about 50p in the last month.

I have had no dividends stolen . All past dividends hit my account on the due payment date.
I assume you have informed your bank/police at your misfortune.
Lots of shareholders will be looking forward to the next payment/s due in May.
I hope you receive the money OK, if you are still a qualifying shareholder at XD.

I think you got a little confused - this was the last price traded on the market prior to midday, which I stated in response to misinformation that Lloyds spiked before the interest rate hike was announced, but the spike was immediately after midday.

If I had sold my 2nd SB shortly after the first I may have got nearer the peak, but I was busy updating my spreadsheet after the first sale.

Missed the peak, which would have been very lucky - got to take profits on as short as possible timescale when they present themselves.
I would prefer a steady rise in share price so as not to get tempted into short term SB's.

Time of close on IG were at 12.00 and 12.06

Traded just before midday 45.59p a fraction up on 10 minutes prior.
Took until a minute past midday to reach 47p

Most changes in the 1990's rates were 0.25 or 0.5% with a few at 1% in the earlier part of decade.

The increase to a rate of 0.25% today represented a 150% increase.
A long way to go to get to where many see as normalised rate levels.
