We actually still allow the Irish (EU) to come to the UK to live anytime they like.

Still too early to determine the severity of Omicron in comparison to previous variants, but it looks at this stage that the effects of Omicron may be less in any case due to the population building up protection from a previous infection and the vaccination programme.
We may well have had similar hospitalised/death figures even if Delta was still the main variant due to the above reasons.

There you go again comparing Covid 19 with flu.
Despite lockdowns which we do not have for flu, a great many people have died due to Covid 19.

The pandemic has been handled in the correct way in the UK, with essential lockdowns prior to
the vaccine rollout, and since the rollout enabling the economy to bounce back with millions more employed now than the doomsters expected, which was as a result of support.
There are also a great deal of job vacancies, so no more of your bull.

Every eligible person should get a booster asap.

Yes, there are many suffering long Covid, and unfortunately some will succumb well past the 28 day period after testing positive for Covid.

The vast majority of Omicron infections are currently in younger age groups.
We will have to wait and see how well the vaccines give protection to the older groups when Omicron hits them.

Obviously full benefit from a vaccine is probably after a week or two, but unfortunately a lot of people will get Covid just before or just afer vaccination.
Hopefully your family members will be a bit more comfortable by next weekend.

Hopefully Lloyds will be close to pre tax profits of £8 Billion this financial year with the help of clawbacks.
This profit level is what should have been expected in a Covid 19/PPI free environment.

Lloyds have got permission to purchase just over 7 Billion shares but that would almost certainly have to be done over more than one financial year due to buying constraints
