it has been clear for months - they have a progressive dividend policy - the only unknown at this point in time is what the base will be from which to progress the dividend.
I am hoping the re base will be at about the 2.3p level - this would leave plenty of potential increases in the following years.

What a stupid statement - Covid 19 is NOT Mers. Mers did not cause economic Armageddon because it is hard to be transmitted to others and any transmissions would come from clearly ill people.

You really need to think again from whom you take guidance on matters of Covid 19. Youtubers should not be the first port of call.

We can hope that with the early data showing that Omicron has very fast transmissible that this new variant has not the desire to kill people on the same level as it's predecessors. That would be good news - even better if any future variant has less effect still .
