Yet again - you are NOT and never have been a Lloyds shareholder or for that matter any stock with the exception of BIRG.

No good using the site to fabricate by giving the impression of being an investor - it will not wash with me.

Share buybacks when conducted at low valuations are of great benefit for shareholders keeping shares for the long term.

As with any share buyback, the sole purpose is to reduce share capital. The market determines the valyation of a bysiness on a daily basis.

Started only in November 2022 when the share price was at about 85p

why? - the market cap is about £32 million - an extremely high premium to tnav which is still majority cash.

4p is needed to purchase 1.75p in tnav.

With a high risk gamble/investment of a no revenue nature, I personally would expect a discount not a massive premium

If I was a shareholder, I wouldn't take much comfort by a director topping up, increasing his shareholding by

less than 3% - for him a cheap way to send a signal in the hope that it supports his shareholding in its entirety.

He will be keeping his fingers crossed.

The only 2 executive directors left are the founders of the gravy train, who set it up 4 years go with just £50,000, then started the begging bowl operations when they put in on the AIM market.

It has simply turned into 'Met1 gamblers investment trust.' A casino where the 'house' (the directors) cannot lose, but can gain massively over the years. Gamblers are hoping for a return on the lottery tickets that Met1 have been buying.

yes , sold some of the purchase nearly £5 lower from May.

First purchased at the start of Jan 2018 ,virtually smack on the current price.
