As it says, an aim of buying more shares over a period of time to increase holding/ownership.
So yes it is stupid to say that investors do not increase their holing/ownership by purchasing more shares.

If an investor had a holding/share ownership of 20,000 shares I think you will find that any returns to shareholders would be double that of an investor with a holding/share ownership of 10,000 shares
