My suggestion is to get rid of IHT - a tax at 40% on money that has accumulated on already taxed income/capital gains.

It only raises about £7B - far less than is spent on overseas 'aid'

Core inflation rate was unchanged at 6.3% against a 6.2% forecast.

It has been stated on here that average wage increases were running at 6.4%.

The MPC need to raise base rates by 0.5% at their next meeting

My suggestion is that the ISA yearly limit of £20,000 that has been in place since 17/18 be increased to £25,000, and of course no limit to the value held within it - I have put the maximum yearly amount allowed into PEPS/ISA's since they first started.
Also inheritance tax to be scrapped

I would rather keep my portfolio in HSBC nominee accounts - wouldn't like to keep large valued investments in the hands of a Mickey Mouse outfit (i'm sure there are some) that I feel may be more open to fraudulent activity.
