would like to see a £1 Billion provision tomorrow.

7.3p eps
at least a 1.6p final dividend
outside chance of a special dividend.
Would like to see an increased share repurchase programme for 2023 compared with 2022.

historic yield will be near 5%, forward prospective yield for 2023 will be over 5%.
This return hopefully will be further enhanced by a further share investment repurchase programme.
The average ftse100 yield is under 4%.
If anyone wants to agree with you that the returns by lloyds are 'crass' then that is their problem.

anyone purchasing not that long ago at under 24p the 2022 full year dividend would be a yield of about 10%.
Anyone purchasing today the historic (after tomorrow) would be getting on for 5%.
The average ftse100 yield is under 4%.
Lloyds dividend returns have then been further enhanced by the 2022 share repurchase programme, making a £2 Billion investment on behalf of shareholders at 44p per share.
2023 will see a further progression of dividend payments

Once again - Lloyds do not hold shares in treasury. The number of new shares required for staff schemes is an unknown from the outset.

Lloyds can purchase shares in the market and cancel as part of shareholder total returns as hopefully they will announce in 2 days time.
