Good advice to a corporation from an investment banker may well be that investing in your own business (share repurchase programmes) at below book value would be a wise investment.
Lets hope that Lloyds are able to repurchase many more shares below book in 2023.

that is for each individual investor to decide - it is because of no more PPI and higher interest rates for the foreseeable future that Lloyds is able to make 10% + returns to shareholders.
For me it seems like a win win situation whatever the market is prepared to pay for each Lloyds share

I am saying that Lloyds already has a good return by way of dividends which will progress in 2023.
Purchasing shares on behalf of shareholders is a good long term move whilst under book value.
