''And telling all, that 'buybacks' are the 'answer' when billions have been spent already, you are IF truly believing such, saying, that the current share price would be EVEN LOWER without having such''.
the answer? to what?
the sole purpose of the buyback is to reduce share capital.
The BOD's have decided (rightly in my view) that investment in Lloyds shares at way below NAV is of great benefit to longer term shareholders.
The current market cap is about £30 Billion - what do you think the price per share would currently be with 10 Billion more shares on the market?
''inflation''
I am not aware of the capital 'invested' in ordinary shares being indexed linked.
'' I have proof at the end of everyday in the closing price''
proof of what? - that the market decides on the value of Lloyds - I think everyone knows that.
