The price per share will depend on the valuation the market gives to Lloyds - currently about
£31 Billion.
The number of shares is being reduced quite quickly since last years buyback started

they wouldn't have a clue about a decision of the Lloyds BOD's regarding another buyback this year. They are paid to put out something, correct or not.

If they decide on another buyback it will most likely be announced in Feb 2024 - from a reputable lse lloyds board poster and ex HSBC man

You should learn to sit back and relax - with maintained profitability and an ever reducing number of shares, the price per share takes care of itself in the future.

There are other ways of raising money - hmg was the quickest and needed only because hmg got Lloyds to merge with hbos.
