Yes, I have said many times that Lloyds are making double digit returns in total.

The board has a policy of buybacks at the moment with overwhelming support from shareholders .

A 6p 2024 total dividend would be a forward yield at today's price of over 14%

I would be happy with any price. The lower it is, the more shares that will be removed.

Any reasonable upward trend would mean reaching some selling points.

Just two of the entities BOS and Halifax when they merged had a market cap of about £25 Billion

what are you on. This is an investment trust where the share price reflects the movements of the underlying investment values. The yield that HFEL is able to pay has nothing to do with the underlying asset values. 22% of the fund is in China.
