NG charges the generators under the Transmission Network Use of System, worked out by their Entry Capacity onto the Grid transmission network

Just checked - Overall the shares that had been bought back were at a price between about 20 to 40p lower than the current share price.

After the last 2 share issues HFEL will no longer have any shares held in treasury.

All shares bought back have been re sold.

All of the previous issue of shares had all come from those held in treasury

The shares just issued are at a price about 20p higher than the last buyback price.

they bought some shares and held in treasury when the shares were trading at a discount to net assets for a period of time. We have now gone back (as they have been most of the time) to having the shares trading at a premium to net assets.

Some of those shares that were held in treasury have gone towards the issue of new shares at a premium price.

HFEL would not buyback shares a premium.

Issuing new shares at a premium is obviously good for the Fund.

I think you need to think a bit more. If anything needs electricity to function then the price of that electricity is irrelevant to the demand needed. The price is the price. Electricity generators are in a queue to get onto the grid for the large increase in demand that will take place in future years.

Only electric cars can be purchased from 2035 unless Labour reduce that timescale. AI will also require vast amounts of energy.

the price of energy is determined by wholesale prices feeding through to suppliers and then price caps are applied to suppliers by OFGEM.

The largest part of an end users bill comes from the generation of electricity.

A small amount of an end users bill is for the payment that National grid receives for network maintenance etc and set by OFGEM, and is not affected by the price of energy. National grid is also the distributor of electrcity in certain parts of the country for which it receives a further amount set by OFGEM.

National Grid charges generators for the amount of connected generation capacity that they have going onto their transmission network.

Electricity generation will vastly increase in future years .

With the assumption of continued buybacks with just maintained profitability and market valuation, the price per share WOULD make significant progress over the years.

What proportion of this never ending problem are not aligned to western values/society, but nevertheless keep flooding into western countries, including millions into England (Scotland has hardly been affected so far due to not many wanting to go there).
