There are a lot of people on this board that need support with their mental health issues - buying shares valuing a business at over £100 million when nearly all the assets will be about £13 million cash seems a bit strange. I guess that the hope is that more people come along wanting to buy a share of £13 million cash for a higher price. No wonder health services struggle with the workload.

I can sell £1 million cash for £8 million if people want to buy shares.

yes I will also hold certain stocks no matter how high they go, I would get to the point of selling various amounts on the rise until I had the amount of shares that I want to keep.

I tend to keep a holding in most stocks for many years that I invest in, buying and selling at certain levels and with varying amounts of money involved - Example a large purchase of Lloyds shares in 2020 at under 24p and at the same time a very large spread bet as well. In recent times I have completely got out of HLN spun out of GSK - Woodside from merger with BHP (I am a shareholder) petroleum business . A long time ago out of Apple and Amazon and RSA, Dixons. Also forced sales -Monitise - takeover by Fiserv . Greene King by CK Asset Holdings and Friends by Aviva (but was already invested in Aviva). Have been in and out of BDEV/BTRW a couple of times whilst maintaining another house builder.

They get very upset with posts simply stating facts for some reason. It is as if facts do not fit their narrative.

MET1 share count would have gone up over 16 fold in a short space of time, since consolidation to near the end of September.

ffs - how many more times? - you must have mentioned inflation regarding an investment about 500 times already, so you will get the same answer.

Investing in a particular share is not inflation proof.

Investing in the stock market is the best protection again inflation.

You would have been more than protected against inflation, using Lloyds dividends to buy further shares at low prices.

The capital value of cash does not move at all - just an interest amount paid, which had been very little for many years.
