Zen, Jimmy Lea confirmed to me in an email on tuesday that we are being paid for the gas in Nigeria. I did post this the same day.

Let's hope this change of name is the catalyst we have been waiting for and news will begin to flow at 7am tomorrow !!

Not sure why it takes 5 months to prepare and audit accounts for such a relatively small company ?

Will an update precede or follow results ? PC i agree with your sentiments a reassuring update would do more good than harm at this stage.

Loki, are you assuming Opec+ is a done deal as i am not so sure and if done will it be enough ?

Zen, I referenced the gas price as it should have an effect on sentiment if nothing else. I am aware of the fixed pricing but the gas price will have relevance to any new customers we aquire.

Gas is at a 4 week high this morning, hopefully the rise will continue today.

Lobon i believe there are a few on here who are awaiting the same clarity so as to press the buy button. did a bit of additional buying around the 7p mark but want some reassurance before adding further.

Can we gain any comfort that surely they wouldn't pump more gas if they weren't getting paid ?

Again the market rises and again SAVP is one of the very few non movers. I have written again to the company for some clarity with regards to gas payments and whether they would like to quash the rumours of non payments.
They have never responded to any of my emails before so i won't hold my breath !!

Oil is up nearly 50% from last monday, gas up 5% this morning, virtually everything on the market up today except wait for it " SAVP" FFS have the market makers just locked the door on this one ? a 25% spread doesn't help.

MCB, Proving up Niger on our own with cash generated from Nigeria may be the best way forward at present as i feel a partner may be hard to find or not willing to come up with what AK see's as a fair price. Proving up the Niger asset ourselves could add significant tvalue 12-18 months down the line when hopefully oil is at a more Palatable price, and the Pipeline will be there or nearly ready to receive oil flows.

I am not aware of us being in a closed period, so would have seen this to have been the ideal opportunity for Directors to take advantage of price and put there money where their mouths are, 3 of them have less share than the majority of us on here which isn't a resounding endorsement of the company.
