I agree with a lot of that. I think that was how negotiations started but AA started to get cold feet maybe over the price or the background noise etc. This maybe led to the raise and the go it alone policy. AA were by then only offering a JV at not very good terms. I probably agree with the Cheyeza plant. Its just not believable now about the delay- it's beyond ridiculous.
I would say that maybe one thing l overlooked when investing here was just how early stage this company is but that is not to say in the current environment and the better prospects of investing in Zambia this should still be worth a hell of a lot more than it is today. We can only hang on for news.
Btw, my probably mistaken belief at the time was that Handa was set up not only to renew the old licences but also to sell/JV on with AA. The small mining licence was surplus to requirements so was given up as maybe a requisite for getting the renewed licences. That's what I thought happened. Now did MM not throw a spanner in the works which led AA to get cold feet?.
Obviously us lths are now hoping that once these court cases are won AA will go ahead regardless of spectacular drill results.
Time frames as to the sequence of events have become blurred and NvS really needs to deliver or I'm afraid you have been proved right.
Personally I do believe that you have become a little vindictive because of the treatment you perceive to have suffered and tbh I don't see you as being that nutter China blue. Not that it matters much . Gl
Thanks for the replies fulmar and kully. I hope you're right. I must say I do hope it's this that's stopped a deal being done here. It's really painful watching people buying in at this price when truthfully this is the strongest position the company has been in.
Tbh I think Nordic makes an interesting point- remember this is Africa, there could be political reasons not to look to completely destroy the man. A deal could be struck so all sides can come out of it not too badly. In fact I agree completely that this will happen. The President will need to keep the tribes happy etc.
