With all that being the case, one has to wonder why it's taken a year now to sign up American Bridge, who were said to be in 'advanced negotiations' twelve months ago.

What a day AST has had - good job to all of you who were playing that one today. I checked out the board a few times and it was good to see some of the old regulars from here still plying their trade.

Time to pull the trigger on my own buy I think. I'll take a look at where we open tomorrow and look to get in. Nice to see the CEO and the other Directors putting their money where their mouths are.

We didn't get £40k though did we? We got nothing. If we're lucky we'll get the initial investment back, over an interest-free period of 12 months (plus the time they've already had since Star Sanctum fell over). If we're unlucky, they'll miss a payment and we'll have to instruct lawyers, with money we don't have.

I note that you still can't address any of Hardfall's points about cash levels and have instead resorted to abuse again. That tells us all we need to know I think. Pity.

And as marineville stated, it was £40k interest, not '£3k or £4k'. It was a crap investment, which inevitably went belly up and now it's going to take a year to (maybe) get our money back. Let's not try to rewrite history, eh?

Look, we get it, you've bought in recently and turned up here; the price has fallen through the floor and now you're desperate for a pump so that you can get your trade in. Fair enough, plenty of people do it.

But do me a favour and cut the 'if you don't like it, go somewhere else' rubbish. This is a discussion board, not a forum where only slavish adulation is allowed. It isn't going to work, so cut it out.

As for the 'investment in trenches (I assume you mean tranches) in the Dallas wheel' bit - you haven't yet been able to address any of Hardfall's points below. It sounds to me as though you've got your wires crossed.

Problem is, it sounds as though NY Wheel is going to have to go back to the market for more funding anyway, so there will be ample opportunity to buy in to the wheel anyway for those who might want in.

Good post Mulder. Agree 100%. I've got some cash ready to go and am just waiting for this to stop falling every day before I buy back in. With this current panic I'm just waiting for what I feel is the best buy-in price.

The fundamentals are dire here, let's be honest. The CEO said that there is enough cash to keep the lights on until the end of the year, which is fine. We should also get the Star Sanctum cash slowly drip-fed back over the course of the next twelve months. The idea that the business has loads of cash to dish out in investments however seems fanciful at best and total nonsense at worst. I'm happy to be proven wrong if there is evidence for this but it seems highly unlikely indeed. It's been said a million times before - this isn't going anywhere without a new NY Wheel contractor. The clock is still ticking.

The short answer is that, like many people, I sold the vast majority of my holding here in a series of trades, during the 1p - 2p spikes of last year. However I still have a number of shares left which there is no point selling at this stage, as the share price is so low.

My view is that those shares will likely end up being worthless and I'm fine with that. The historical performance of this company is so laughably bad that it's difficult to credibly predict a positive ending for it. However, like you, I'm waiting for news of an NY Wheel restart, at which point I'll be dumping my shares in to the spike without a second thought.

We laugh, but that genuinely isn't a bad strategy. They're bound to know before Challenger gets around to putting an RNS out.

You're wrong. Hope that helps. Happy to get in to a long and tedious debate as to why if you like, but would rather not.

This share is very prone to the occasional P&D. Not bad for us existing holders, but you don't want to get caught holding the parcel when the music stops.

May be worth looking at the number of shares in issue at that time vs. now before making any massively bold claims. This has been diluted to kingdom come in order to keep the lights on.

I suspect that management is fully aware of the NHS factors - it's just that they're powerless to do anything about it right now. The strategy is clearly geared towards attracting more private pay revenue, but a) that can't happen overnight, and b) will it ever be enough to replace the funds no longer being spent by the NHS?

That said, I agree it's primed for a takeover now. Might look at buying back in at these prices.

SP is tanking now. Looks like we're hitting an all-time low today, which is a ringing endorsement on the day of the AGM.

That's the benefit of moving the AGM to a location that is extremely difficult for any investors to get to I suppose.

All eyes on NY Wheel then, as the deadline creeps ever closer.
