Ken - what are you saying re: copper? It hit $2.40 earlier but has hovered just under since... everything on a major up today, enough momentum to push it all higher or you thinking another dip back?

Serious momentum today, as usual it's all getting carried away with itself so I'm sure there'll be a little retrace in the coming days before moving up more!

Don't worry Billy the vast majority of my stuff is LTH, only got a small pot for trading so I'm very pleased to see everything on a strong upwards footing!

The trading is just for the excitement and to make a little something when everything else is looking red.

My magic number for GLEN is 160 as thats when I'm break even :)

The conservatives are going to have to tread very carefully - the entire agenda this time has been anti-austerity, its all been about growth and investment. It was good to hear about how they've been accelerating Road works and railway upgrades whilst transport use has been down.

Despite having the perfect reason to introduce higher taxes or spending cuts, it goes against everything they were elected based on so would be punished for it during the next election. Maybe push it 4 years down the road and let the next government worry about it.

I enjoy receiving my yearly increase letter to see what excuses they come up with as to why they've had no choice but to exactly raise it by the maximum amount they're allowed to without triggering a vote.

I thought Central government have paid for the business rates relief as part of the Rona packages - my money is on an increase in NI to "properly fund our heroes in the NHS" and the social care system, a couple % increase in income tax and maybe a freeze on increasing the personal allowance, another raid on landlords and dividends/ capital gains...

Or a special Rona tax so that it doesn't technically break the pledges to not increase NI or income tax.

Gone from gentle ups, to big gains, to marginal gains or losses again... bit all over the place!

Martsons were up 17% a bit earlier, then sunk to -1% now back slightly positive. Crazy!
