never had a problem with hard grafters and bettering yourself for the good of yourself and your family.

never had a problem with enjoying the fruits of ones labour either.

what i do have a problem with is the false narrative that the least well off are not hard grafters.

what i do have a problem with is the richest in society not paying their fair share. the least well off pay far more of their earnings as a percentage of their disposable income.

that ultimately is where all the problems with our society lie.

everything else is just *******5 concocted to allow this state of affairs to carry on.

I nursed my own mother until she died from cancer, lost her, my Dad and two brothers within a space of 5 years (brothers a year apart, to the day).

I am now nursing my best pal, my dog, who at 15 has recently developed diabetes (to go along with all his other problems) lost 4 kilo in weight and gone blind since Christmas. He almost died in my arms the day before yesterday due to a 'hypo'. The first we've experienced.

The problems you are facing with your Mum (as i did mine) are the very reason i'll fight the likes of those that regularly post here, those who applaud whilst our health services and social services are deliberately shred to pieces whilst rich men are allowed to hoard wealth and not contribute to the society we all benefit from.
