βWhy do you think i would want to 'defend the government'?β
'Why wouldn't you, you're always saying how great it is. Perhaps you're having doubts, it's taken a while but as you know, all socialism ends in tears and no money.'
I'd only just read your attempt at addressing this, apologies for delayed mock.
You, like your little clique on here resort to the same old tired lines and fantasy.
I've never liked Starmer. Never thought he was the leader the nation needed BUT he was the best of a poor bunch (and very much still is!).
Starmer has introduced some positive measures, such as the VAT on private schooling and the Renters Reform Bill amongst others.
Labour haven't even had a year in office and unlike those hellbent on knocking them, whatever they do, i'll reserve judgement until the next election.
14 years of pilfering and the largest debt since WW2 combined with the catastrophe of Brexit is a mountain no party could ever hope to rectify in the short space of time Labour have had. I'd have thought that obvious.
Unfortunately you (the most intelligent poster on this board apparently) seem unable to realise the situation.
