yeah it takes big balls to hold a loser for a while until it turns good, likewise it takes those same big balls to not sell as soon as a small profit shows up. i have spent the last 6 weeks since i started trading chaising rainbows, believing ramps as gospel and getting my fingers burnt until it got to the point yesterday when everything was red i thought f**k it and i split my 50k portfolio over COBR TSI TILS SAVE ODX and i am prepared to hold as long as i need to to see at least 20% profit. COBR is my biggest hold at 16k and unfortunately doing the worst today lol but i am fed up of chasing losses the money can sit there until its worth selling.

nathdomb i feel your pain, yesterday was a blood bath on all fronts, imagine my surprise to see TILS down today as well! I think its best to set some alerts on your shares and then close your eyes and come back in a month or when an alert goes off lol

I would love to sell but it would be at a £4500 loss off a 16k position which i am not keen to do, however i see this dropping more and more, down what 18% yesterday, close to same again today. so do i take 11k and run or hope for a rise or watch it slowly drift down to 5k lol.... hard one to call

Jeez this stock gets more and more depressing, every time i top up to average down it bombs another 15% looks like this will now become a seriously long hold, my average is 2.21
