Yes...plenty of killer sharks just waiting to gobble up a tiny morsel such as ourselves.
Great...but i can see, as i said, GGP achieving all the milestones mentioned on this board. mainly because it is indeed a world class company with a world class management team and world class asset. but the share price will, in my opinion, struggle to reach the dizzy heights of 20p+..we have to be realistic! 17p or 18 p represents over 125% increase in the current share price
Green bin or not re 17 or 18p...i think most people here would be happy with that SP as long as all the other predictions /actions have been fulfilled ( ASX Listing....revenue stream created...etc etc ) seems to me that the focus will be on GGP success and not shareholders profiting.
hope i am wrong but the more postings (albeit very well written and full of great research) about techical mining issues the less i see SP mentioned and focus on growing the value of my holding

Precious metals are the biggest rising sector today....wow !
Just for interest....if in the distant future when the dust has settled and GGP have achieved their aims of ASX listing...gold out of the ground at a favourably low price... Inst. Is bought in ...fully funded without too much shareholder disruption...Telfer starting to benefit etc ....would that be classed a success even though the share price is aroound say 17 or 18 p ? I believe in most posters here and in the eyes of SD it indeed would be a resounding success. Perhaps there is a bit of a divergence and difference in what success looks like. I am totally focused on a share price that will compensate me for years of waiting and some degree of "suffering". I am reticent to use the word suffering when there is so many bad things happening in the world today
Bamps..very well put and I think you have addressed my concerns in a factual and respectful way. I have followed your research and postings for many a year now and respect you grately for your intellect
For those LTH on the journey like me, not getting any younger and/or those like me been dabbling in shares sice 2001 it is crazy that the share price a few years ago was 300 or 350% higher than it is today. I know that no share price moves in a straight line but I am keen to know what it was that made Greatland 3 or 4 times valuable then than it is now. All answers can point to worrying patterns with the SP and iam not sold by the idea that it was sheer exuberance. Despite all the great research it can look like holders and potential holders are disappointed with the progress and status of the company as it stands. That is what is foxing me ...35p to 7p suggests lack of belief or underachievement dont you think?
Apologies for the typos and lack of true numbering of my points...i am sure you know what i am trying to say..just not very good at posting grammatically correct
I understand your standpoint and you have made your points eloquently
All I am saying in a layman investot/LTH sort of way
1 Besides experts on this BB and the very agreeable G H...who else is publically stating that we hold world class assets ? Newcrest reports have always made us look like just one of their many ok projects ( nothing to compare with Red Chris of course).....luke warm Newcreat report mentions at best. Institutions are obviously not clamouring to buy in so they musnt think we have that much more than the average mining company offers. The good news depresses the share , the bad news tanks it and the exceptional news elevates the SP for a day before falling back to pre news levels
There is a lot of technical talk going on here and most of it is extremely well informed, eloquent and very informative but the share price languishes nevertheless and is at pathetic levels despite all your incisive research descriptions........ Your well researched postings Certainly not proving to be a great draw for new investors. The share price now is contrary to what is being said vitally important ...it is tangible and therefore real...more real than simply hoping and predicting jam tomorrow . Jam tomorrow has been the theme for many years now ......the SP has tanked and tanked and sentiment seems to have been squeezed out of most average investors along the way.
Just my thoughts but a bit fed up of hearing.."cant wait till this is anounced "or " the SP will fly once the xxxx is put out" etc.
Ok...but a touch of realism is needed
1 I dont proclaim to understand exactly what the Rio news means for Greatland going forward but any link up with a major player such as that is good publicity
but
1 The shhare price has hardly moved which is galling
2 Jam tomorrow has been used for many years now and todays jam was the jam for tomorrow from 3 or 4 years ago ! Look how the SP has performed since that jam proclamation
3 Years and years of luke ward publicity from Newcrest in quarterly accounts have made me feel lile we are not such a once in a lifetime world class find
just a dose of reality
So you believe that this is diversionary tactics .....pathetic rise ...agree with that
Something still not right
Probably not..although I did buy into the early hype backed by research of posters much brighter than me
Because I am greedy for more...have invested again and feel sorry for others who missed that opportunity. I just dont think we will ever see the £1.44 per share that enticed me in the first place unless the share 20 bags that is. I liked GH and didint like SD the monet he first opened his mouth..too Corporate and less lieable and certainly not a man of the people like GH was
Sorry about the typos
top ups not usa and ..bank not bak!
No..i made a big profit when I accidentally sold around the Xmas period ..I was getting a bit obsessed and checking every few minutes for news of Scallywag. Not doing my health any good. I still have some of that profit in the bak
But, greedily, withing a few weeks I went back in and started using the money to buy again as I was so in love with the company. Unfortunately, I am now in a loss situation with this second purchase ( and top usa along the way) but overall if you include the original sale I am in good profit...just greedy for more thats all
Banned for what ...not slating anyone ever as I appreciate the quality of their research, views and postings and for expressing my feellings and telling the truth about my share history.
In truth..I bought at well under 1p....did a lot of topping up with all the money I could muster...then sold out ( by accident) as I was setting a limit sell ,,,,.I pressed the wrong button ! I got the jitters at 35p and was lucky to make that mistake. Obviously made a lot of money
However...I reinvested a load of it in the 20s , teens and below as I was greedy for more and now feel as if I have fallen out of love with the share
What I worry about is that we dont prop up the share price now and 4 or 5 p or 6p becomes the trading range..average punters lie me and II s pile in so that when it treble bags they believe they have hit the jackpot and agree to a 11 or 12 p bid or hapily start selling out at 3 times purchase price arond the 10 or 11p mark. Of course I belive we will be higher once we start producing but its the base we start from that worries me greatly
Sorry..i meant over estimating not under estimating..doh!
You are underestimating the power of company shareholders ( up in arms..i dont think anyway) and the importance of HAV in the scheme of things. Prioritiisation and divestment are the words that prompted me to write what I did ..see below..
What people seem not to understand is the when we finally bring out the good stuff from underground and start earning revenues the share price will triple bag and could even reach 9.5p
The thought of that and knowing that I should be grateful to hold a multi bagger leaves me cold ( and in a loss situation)
"No one disputes that the share price will be higher when we start earning but a mothwatering high of say 9 or 10 p a share or a buy out at the dizzy heights of 11p just isnt what we all thought the future would look like."
Mothballing might actually seem like a favoured option while the dust settles ...and dont forget the inevitable share consolidation that could hit us hard depending on the fators used.
Sorry again to sound negative but it needs saying again
Besides shorters ....who the hell is selling at levels below 6.75 ?? Beats me...
