Well I'm not surprised. We're already a year over when ch1 was meant to be spudded the first time. But the early production is Good news and getting the other 2 Wells back up and running too..
The share will get the hell kicked outta it but imo this time next year we'll be in a markedly changed position. I can wait 2yrs :)

lovely preformace today. i put my shares up at £24.30 and its looking like if its not gone now its going soon. (i missed the morning level where it went above that cause i had to ring in the bloody trade thanks to an IT issue)

been a hell of a ride from the days £9 and i STILL think it'll hit £25 but this is good enough for me

To take up MrWools post my best mate bought into Aex back when it was going for 10p a share and him asking me if it'd EVER get back to that is what drew my attention to it.

ok i bought in at the half a cent level (and doubled up at a stupid price which is why i need over a cent to break even) . but everything i could see on it said if it came off on the production front it should definitely get back to that 10p level for my mate to get his money back and for me to make a handsome return.

TBH right now im starting to think 20p is possible come the end of 24/25 and all 8 wells in production.

i wont be hanging around for that but it definitely looks possible. as others have said thanks to the free carry this is about as safe a bet as you can get in this sector. something MAD could come outta left field and bugger everything up, but IMO its literally something like THAT that could only derail us now.

all the years seem to be paying off.

im seriously thinking of going at 23.5 should we get it. the exchange rate is getting back towards 84p agin the euro again too so im really not leaving all that much on the table from my £25 target price. its a hell of a ride recently.

That 1.14 puts me back in the black again. Nice to see this far out :)

i gotta be honest i have my doubts about what the purpose of the 3D survey is. remember we were MEANT to have drilled CH1 LAST year without em. then they sprung em on us.

i wouldnt be surprised if we get the results in and the place to do the drill is EXACTLY where it was planned all along.

i think its function was to put off development till now where weve got a MUCH more supportive gov running the country, the residuals we were owed, and to confirm the vastly greater amounts were told are there.

no harm in the long run for a company like ours that carried to full production and i hate to say it but considering global conscerns were about to drill at a time when everyone and his aunt is looking for gas/oil.

before the recent placing we were trading at 1.15 or so IIRC , so i definetly see us going north of 1p again very soon.

im tempted myself at this level. ive stated many a time here that 25 is my price and i still DO think it'll hit it, its just the timetable for that is too nebulous for me now and 22 to 23 is faaar more likely in the short run.

like yourself that 24.5 shoulda been enough for me but hindsight et al.

i cant complain though. im looking at a 130%+ return. the only thing really stopping me is i know getting this stock at almost the bottom 2 years ago is pretty much a once in a lifetime type of trade and i really do wanna maximise it as much as possible.

im pretty sure the only time i did as good on a return front was when i punted on bank stocks during the crash. the covid period is literally the only thing to hit the markets as bad as then.

all in all i dont blame you. its been a hell of a time.

Nice to see the spud date is still on track. ive been in stocks where thats slipped and its worked out alright in the end anyway so i wouldnt have bailed or anything .

it just means we should see some decent SP growth by Dec this year instead of it falling into next year.

ive said i'd be happy to bail at 10p but TBH with the timescale now being multiple wells by near this time 2024 i might just stick it out. its only 2yrs and im really stumped to see how this investment could be any safer now.

Well one good thing is for sure. in 14mths we'll know what our fate is and this long drawn out Limbo will end.

We'll either have the reverse take over we've all been suspecting for years now, or the shares will be suspended from the exchange's.

As im STILL here ya can guess my stance is the RTO with andersons conscern with hopefuly a nice bounce in the share price to above 6p or so.

but to be brutally honest anything above 3.8c (euro) is good enough for me.

the LOOOOOOONG wait is nearly over for us whatever the result.

Comfortably over 24.50 almost straight off the bat this morning.

Think I'll go for the 25 as bar bad news it's deffo on the table now imo. Possibly by Friday.

puts me in a conundrum as thats a good enough price for me (though i STILL have to ring up the broker to sell it as they never sorted the new listing on the website)

BUT my initial target WAS 25 and fifty cent off it? not a huge amount considering the performance this year.

yeah i expect any material change in the price to be inline with what happened the LAST time we went up to 7c. i.e on the back of a well being drilled and gas actually coming outta the ground.

the 3D seismic IS interesting to me and i hope it confirms the suggested levels. but ultimately i dont expect the insitutional investors who'll pump MILLIONS into this company to turn up till theres tangible product.

so we should get a good bounce in Nov and full value 2yrs down the road with all the other wells in operation.

just a matter of sitting back now and waiting (and fingers crossed no more delays)

in fairness is IS kinda frustrating to see it go above 24.20 and then drop back to 23.9 odd so often. particularly if ya wanna bail at 24.5 or so.

im thinking we may hit that 24.5 this week if we get some good news.

for myself im still here but im literally only about 60quid off my target return now and a few weeks ago that was fig was 345 quid off. so im near the end of my ride on this stock.

its looking to be the best return since i took a punt on collapsed bank stocks back in 13. so i cant complain.

i too am a holder of Ormonde mining (which is where i get my handle from- been with it since 2011) and i remember the nonsense they printed about it. in retrospect i shoulda bailed when it was 8c a share but i genuinely thought with the mine finished it'd hit 14c. right now were all waiting for tom andersone to get his fking finger out and tell us whats going on now he's been essentially put in charge of it.

yeah . in 30yrs with EVERYTHING going right for it i suppose, good luck to you if you want to wait that long.

im in here for the 10p party which i think is Faaaaaar more likely and more importantly has a better chance of happening in my lifeitime.

Just tó bé clear when I said take advantage of a recession in the states and the ecb I meant reinvest in the stock market as institutionals run. Ya could have opportunities as good as when this hit 9 quid.
Also I've got 5yrs left on the mortgage and freeing up 2 stocks gives me the cash to pay that all off. A great thing with inflation now.

With £25 being the selling price i wanted when i bought into this stock two years back on a worse exchange rate against the euro than we have now im thinking of biting the bullet and selling by prob this time next week at the most. £24 is a great return from the £9 buy in so if we get say £24.5 ill go.

personally i dont think the windfall tax WILL happen as it sets a precedent that could effect the whole stockmarket. im sure the gov will make noises, but i dont see it happening in the end.

IMO this is still a great stock to be in. ya got a decent divi and its in a sector thats holding up brilliantly when ya look at the conflagration thats just befell the tech sector in the US. BUT I do have genuine concerns about a recession in the US next year and the effects of interest rises from the european central bank. i intend to get out of most of my preforming stocks to take advantage of that then. and hey ya gotta bank the profit at some stage or whats the point ?

closed down 1.77% today which is not bad considering its Ex Divi day and the markets were having a 'mare . im confident it'll be back over 24 in a fortnight at most.
mainly as i see the only real threat to us being bank interest rates going up. all things being even were still one of the best places to be if you wanna be in the stockmarket and with alot of the banks charging negative interest rates there'll still be alot of institutions looking for a return.

Said before I'd sell at 25 but 24 is damn close and the exchange rate is getting better against the euro. I think I'll still stay to get the divi as I see any drop recovering very quickly. But hey I can wait till August if I gotta.
Only real fear I have is I too sense trouble ahead. Inflation and increasing interest rates bother me on the stock market as a whole without some shock like another Ukraine situation. Being so close to my target I may blink this week.
Either way this has been the best investment I've made in an age. Good luck to all sticking in for the 30 target.

I reckon thanks to the stellar rns 23 is the new floor. Apparently there was a god awful sell off everywhere else yesterday thanks to the rate increase but you wouldn't know here.
I'm now in fantastic selling territory but I'm gonna hold off to get this quarters divi, so that's after May 20th.
Plus I reckon there's a chance it'll hit 24 by then. Only bad news I'm getting is the stg rate has dropped against the euro.

Nice jump up this morning to 22.3., people apparently gagging to buy the share. I think we're looking at a surge now. Could be 23 by Fri.
