It's fighting like mad to stay over it but there seems to be enough sellers to keep it at 21.995 its great to see it break the 22 though and I reckon by Fri we'll be well over it as the lag goes. Somewhere about 22.11 is my guess. With stg at. 832 I'm sorely tempted to sell. It's a great price for me now

Broke the 21.5 barrier today. nice to see.

I get the sense we're gonna top 21.5 this week.
21.2 looks to be the floor now and we broke 21.3 today.
Im still thinking of staying in till August but I'm in great territory now. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if sentiment alone takes it to 22 or 23 this year end. Hence why I'm still holding

yeah i cant help thinking KN 1 Might have sommat to do with this too. we HAVE a free carry so why do we need this 3.3m ?

many of us, myself included , thought we'd be just coasting now till spudding and production.

so the notion this may be to get the remediation done as AEXs part in getting gas production up and running in that 18mth period the gov seems to want isnt that far fetched.

over all though if it IS about just securing funds for production im fine with that. i lost out on another company that had a blinding asset- had the whole thing built and mining- and then because they went in the wrong area got hit with costs which forced them to sell the thing for a song and collapsed the share price.

i dont want that to happen here so if this is just a war chest we look pretty much bullet proof now.

yeah Divi turned up today . looks like its taking the aforementioned 2 working days for it to process with my provider.

Yeah share price is drifting now. been a good while since i seen it in the 60s range and were damn near it.

Yeah my crowd are the same. If it's like last time it'll turn up in 2 working days time. Still can't sell the shares electronically. Despite them saying they're working on it. Have to do an aul fashioned phone call trade.

21 pound broken within first 50min of trading.

it definetly seems to be pushing the £21 level and i think theres a good chance that'll be broken by Friday. i think theres a value punt going on here. if you look at the financials for instance the banks are floundering or outright tanking in places so there could be funds just getting out of them and opting for commodities. were in great shape here and STILL below where we were in jan 2020.

yes the divi is half what it was, but it IS still being paid by the quarter and right now thats a boon.

ive said before i'd bail at £25 but with the exchange rate to euros its effectively 25 euros a share now. should it hit 21.5 it may become too tempting with whats happening in other sectors. . either way its a nice position to be in.

i didnt sell as ive a feeling it'll break over 21 soon enough and TBH i'll prob stick it out till august. the divi is a nice incentive.

Gotta be honest lads im damn close to selling at £20 a share.

i STILL think its worth £25 but i got em circa £9 which was €10.66 at the exchange rate then and as it stands it pushing 24 euro a share now what with the utter collapses of the euro against STG.

im leaving about a grand more in profit on the table if i do it. but the war is kicking the shyte outta aother stock i hold which when all things calm down and it recovers will net me 4k profit on HALF the holding i have here should i put it into it.

essentially meaning i get me original investment back with a couple a quid left over for a nice meal out and a few scoops, and a nice mid termer investment waiting to pay off in about 2yrs or so.

man its tough.

They announced today theyre doing a buyback (angling to get it off the states holding from what ive heard too) and paying a dividend for the first time in years.

4.5c a share though.

which prob explains why the share price tanked on the back of it. closing at 2.19 euros on the euronext exchange.

gotta say im in here since the covid crash so its all gravy to me. literally bought this when it and shell were drenched in blood on the floor.

it depends what you want i guess. i mean if your buying straight in now with NO pre existing holding you making , what, 2.9% year on the DIVI ?

you wont get that at any bank so if you wanna risk it you get a better return.

and like i posted im in here expecting it to hit £25 based on prior preformances. hell i could be cheeky and wait for it to hit £28 again but the former price is good enough for me.

the time for the BIG return though that those of us that bought at £9 plus is LOOOOONG gone though.

STILL this is the stockmarket, another shock like covid isnt beyond the realms of possibility so ya might get yer chance yet.

looking good for my £25 sell target over the next few months, mainly as the sector is taking off. as others have said cashing out leaves you asking WHERE to invest and TBH theres not much out there unless you want to take a chance on distressed banks stocks or the like.

certainly nothing thats giving the nice constant DIVI were getting here. so even if im wrong and its ANOTHER year before i get the 25 its a wonderful position to be in. personally the reason im getting out is to knock a few years off the aul mortgage,

3 to 4 p sounds about right to me.

remember the BIG issue here in relation to us ISNT the asset, its more what the zubairs are willing to be bought off at and IIRC their holding averages at 3p.

no deal is gonna go ahead without them and they aint gonna take a loss , which is one of the reasons i dont see a buyout as a threat.

ive had two stocks i held over the years get taken private, thankfully only one a a loss. it sucks to see a stock you "know" is worth more go for a song but thats business. its in the hands of the big shareholders in the end.

Gotta admit im looking forward to tomorrow and should the results be as good as that article implies i seriously see us going over the £20 pound mark. maybe even further if theres any talk about the special divi we all hope for.

now i just have to get my fecking brokerage to fix their online platform so i can SELL the fecking things !

anyone any idea whats going on with the share price info ive pasted below for today?
its saying the high was 1.075 when on the sites OWN share trades section theres 7 buys for 1.139 , two over 1.14 and two for 1.149.

and the closing price of 1.025 is waaaay off the last buy that was done at 16.15 for 1.09.

whats goin on?

mine are there BUT i cant sell em on my online platform. preusumably i can just ring in and order over the phone but yeah not acceptable in this day and age when SOOOO much advance warning was had by all.

luckily im a good bit off my sale price so i dont need to do it today.

Most trades I've seen at the start of the day in an age.
London stock exchange is saying high of 1.15 already though bouncing down to 1.04 at times.
Looks like any cheap ones will be snapped up quickly.
Hopefully seeing a new floor here.

I'd the reverse postion about 10yrs back when IIRC a media stock i held did a reverse stock split and suddenly the 10k or so i had it it was being reported as 222k in my portfolio.

the next day eveything went back to normal but i got a laugh outta it

it can be shocking for the uninitiated to see "extinct" next to yer shares.
