18;43 Evening, Yes I believe so, but to be honest there have been times this week when I've had that many tabs open I've nearly had a meltdown.
I can see in both 2017/2018 Elixir annual reports he's listed as having 8,219,028 shares, so as part of the deal for transferring ownership of the Alaskan leases to then Entek (now XCD) he would have received circa 4,000,000 Entek shares. But what I struggle with and it doesn't take much at times is in Enteks 2018 annual report he is not listed as a major shareholder, as in the top 20, he might of had some but by default it had to be less than 4,000,000 to not appear. Now we jump forwards one year to 2019's report and he now the number one holder with 20.695.800
And that's the bit I'm just struggling with, as I say, fine with what 88E are trying to achieve but as we say up North just want things fair n propper.

Did some digging into DW's shares in XCD and now understand how he came by approximately 4,000,000 due to his historic holding in Entek Energy, the problem now is I missed that as of XCD'c annual report 2019 he has just north of 20,000,000!! he's not in the top 20 holders in the 2017 report and though the top holder now he's below the 5% ASX threshold for disclosure as a "Substantial shareholder" so the exact date he acquired the additional 16,000,000 is unclear so for me there's still more questions than answers on that one, still hope we get the leases mind.

Excellent, though not on 88E leases land it does have positive implications.
I have been doing some digging into Dave's shareholding in XCD, I known you know the history but would appreciate if you could please confirm I'm on the right track, guess others would possibly feel the same as there's been a fair old amount of "shoot first then ask the questions" in fact just shoot and don't ask.

Looking back into Elixir Energy 2016 annual repot I see Dave Wall being listed at the top of the top 20 holders, Elixir Energy being the holders of the Alaskan lease now with XCD. At this time, in fact, from 2014 Dougal Ferguson was their MD (current ND od XCD)
My guess and it is only that is around this time Dave and Paul (RIP) were buying up numerous leases on the North slope, based primarily on PB's believe in what possibly lied below, I think Paul once made the comment that this area was the "cooking house" for the bulk of the oil in Alaska and though much had naturally migrated North to the areas of Prudhoe bay etc significant amounts remained both as conventional and to a greater degree unconventional (HRZ) So it would look like Dave though not able for whatever reason to purchase these leases knew or believed their potential and so took out a significant holding in the company that did. Insider dealing? not really more like using what you know to your best advantage.

We move forwards several years to 2019 and Elixir Energy have their fingers in several pies but as all junior explorers find money is hard to come by, they then receive an offer from Entek Energy to purchase said leases via a share offer to existing Elixir holders. This then excepted results in Dougal Ferguson rendering his resignation (to follow the leases) with glowing praise from the Board to take up his current position as MD, his first job is rebranding and renaming Entek Energy to XCD.

Sorry, it's wordy but its taken me old brain cells a while to get my head around it, but for me there's "nothing to see" its above board, and there's history.

In the Q&A session, ConocoPhillips execs were asked what they needed to have an economically viable development at Harpoon - and what size they were chasing.

Matt Fox, EVP, exploration and production, said it wasn’t a good idea to share that information ahead of drilling, but given the seismic signature, it “looks like there could be … quite substantial resources. Now it could be gas and it could be water. It’s almost certainly a reservoir because we’re pretty sure that’s what the seismic signature’s telling us … but it doesn’t have to be huge for it to be a tieback to the Willow hub.”

So if you can look past the water and gas comment the last line is interesting,

XCD'd lease are approximately half the distance to Harpoon when compared to the Willow hub, the world just got smaller GL

L..M, I have been looking at similar documents, and I think the fog is lifting, still misty mind.

The link below details XCD's addition lease gains in Dec 2019, has a handy diagram showing both their acreage and neighbours, shows the very close proximity of XCD's leases and the Umiat discovery as well as COP Willow discovery and planed (spud imminent ) Harpoon prospect.

Also, another link to a slideshow by COP for analysts and investors, it runs 152 slides so takes some downloading, page 64 shows the extent of their North slope leases and details undrilled prospects, one of which is just to the North of XCD's lease, page 71 detail the proposed significant infrastructure planned for the Willow discovery even down to a runway. Willow is a historical discovery for COP (2017) and they have pushed back its planned production date based on what they might find when they drill Harpoon.
So when all this goes into the melting pot XCD's leases look to be not as isolated as first appears and possibly landlocked by other companies discoveries, given a following wind.
Either way, I am now moving onto the page that this might just be a very lucrative transaction.

So as currently sat at AUS 0.5c its next move at a minimum is down 20% to 0.4c or up 17% to 0.6c.

Was the same yesterday, did three dummy buys, was quoted fractionally below MID on two and on MID for the other, consequently just about every trade yesterday was recorded as a sell.
Perhaps the MM's were working from home and wanted an easier/quiet day? surely there can be no underhand reason why you would jack open the recorded spread and then sell at or below the MID.

So Erik's appointment to the board of XCD is quite resent, Nov 2019, not sure if he's a man with fingers in many pies or a chap stood at the back suggesting secret ingredient's, either way, he's becoming the common denominator.
At a first read, XCD'd project peregrine looks interesting though I have probably woke and put my "rose-tinted" glasses on not my readers, but the connection to the Willow discovery, revisiting past 2D with selectively targeted 3D and looking at cost-effective shallow drilling expertise, though I had similar thoughts on Winx 1.......... well enough said

Interesting read on XCD's current focus, Like most on here, not the RNS I was expecting. AS on "lock-in" and not the type I would prefer I'll spend a few hours just reading up on this before passing judgment and drawing some form of conclusion, all to easy to shoot from the hip.
But already on a first glance, the comments re a 100% premium on today's price, in 2020 XCD's shares have traded at a premium of 200% so maybe a timely offer from Dave, and yes him having a substantial holding looks at face value suspicious, but one thing for sure due to Daves current day job, PB's influence and the team he has around him makes him very well informed
om the North slope of Alaska. It probably smacks more of possible insider dealing, either way, technically it was his money and his choice to build a position in XCD, bit like most holders in here.

FTSE currently down a further 3.5%, for a change I will be happy for the next RNS to be early next week, hopefully world markets will have hit bottom and stabilised.
Should be a more detailed drill time plan, confirmation of a successful spud at the weekend and current drill depth just north of 500 feet. Well thats my hopes.

Yep, finally, if I was cynical I would say they were trying to hold the SP back, was like wrestling a bag of sweets from a fat kid.......ops can I say that theses day. Wont be many blue shares today, if/when we are in the blue we should pop into some peoples vision, might work in our favour.
