USA defence budget for 2023 is just shy of 800 billion USD, not even sure how may zero's that is, under pecurment is the list below, I would say if your an American steel manufacturer you will need a steady supply of good quality met coal, that's before the infrastructure bill. I'd say one thing about the Americans, they keep it in house, especially defence spending. Typically circa 760kgs of met coal per ton of steel, that's in its coal form, not once processed into coke, wonder what a battle ship or nuclear sub weights?
