It’s demonstrating that people who think the EPO renewal will be granted the day after expiry, it may not be the case and that supports it.

I wouldn’t say it’s bad, just a bit of expectation setting. GR is also a little cautious as he has got mining exclusivity on portions within the ipo to cover his back by the sounds of an interview a couple of months back
