I think people have to understand that novacyt will not and should not corner the whole market. What if there were breakdowns in the supply chain. Terrible for the business, more importantly terrible for the country. The UK should not and will not put all of their eggs in 1 basket. LAMP testing the negatives for confirmation of result is actually a bigger job than confirming the positives. The molecular scientist that shared the article has also shared articles that the CEO of Novacyt has commented on and liked. People can talk it down as much as they like, but novacyt is gold standard and is here to stay. It is easy to talk down research when you sit on your arse and do nothing. If you do take that mentality then you have no need to post, you aren’t doing any research, if you aren’t doing research you are either not invested or you are chasing a rainbow. Do something constructive with your time rather than talking down the most accurate pcr test that can use portable devises, fda approved and amended to use kit that cuts times down below an hour. Who have EUA’s in place in some of the most populated countries in the world, India, America, Indonesia, Thailand, most of Europe.
