Just checked on London stock exchange. Think you might need to extend the graph for over one year. Since pre-Covid is more than one year back now. There is an option above the graph to see the 5 years range. It show 440 as pre Covid high.

Your figures don’t seem correct. Current price is 195. We just need to convert the pre Covid high into into dilution price. It works out to be about 440. Best place to verify this is London stock exchange website or IAG website and they both reflect this. So there is room to double from here, if not more, with the pandemic recovery in sight this year.

Even the long haul airlines have seen significant price rises recently - United, Lufthansa, etc are just about 20% below their pre Covid SP. IAG fast catching up. Short hauls like Ryan, Wizz etc are way above their pre Covid sp. So the market is pricing in recovery for both short haul and long haul. Which makes me think that RR SP will takeoff as well.

I m very optimistic on RR. We are seeing a big recovery in airline stocks. Which means the market is saying that planes will be flying soon in the sky. If the planes fly, RR will naturally benefit. RR stock should closely be aligned to the airlines fortunes. I’m optimistic RR share price is due for a significant rise.

Massive sell off in the wider market. IAG among the only 3 FTSE 100 stocks in green. Should go much higher next week as the wider market is putting this under pressure.

RR really looks cheap amongst recovery plays. Selling some lloyds which are forever stuck in late 30s and topping up RR.

With the evidence of vaccines working, money has started to flow into the travel sector from tech,etc. I believe anything below 200 is a good entry point for very big gains in a few months.imho. DYOR

For day trading Glencore and IAG are better suited as you don’t have to pay stamp duty on purchase there.

While the numbers in tomorrow’s results won’t surprise anyone but some positive forward looking statements may help the share price.

Selling this is easy, hard part is what to buy instead. Couldn’t work this out for the last two days.

FTSE futures nicely up. With most of the other FTSE stocks having risen in the past few days this too won’t stay low forever. Could see upwards of 41 today.

Sorry on second reading of your post, noticed where are making the error. You are calculating 60% of the already diluted price instead of 60% of pre Covid undiluted price.

60% dilution seems correct. It was about 445 in Jan 2020.
375 you are right exactly a year back. So roughly half way there. In my view 300 could be soon but 400 may take a year or more time for air travel to recover to 2019 levels. DYOR.

Bit frustrating to see this so low when all the similar stocks like Barclays, NatWest are nearly pre Covid level. How has Covid fundamentally changed the fortunes for lloyds when everything else is on recovery. Maybe need some more days of patience.

Yes back in the positive territory. Think it went down due to sellers who were wanting to sell for past few weeks but held off till results. Now we’d see buyers esp income funds with dividend back.

Barclays shares dipped on the results day 18 Feb but since then have gone up by almost 10%. I’m hoping the same for lloyds to be 43-44 in a week or so.

It’s steadily moving north since morning. Could be 200 today or tomorrow. Results likely to add to the upwards momentum.

Great to see it in 40s after a very long wait! Hope 45 won’t take long from here.

Don’t think Fridays results would have much bearing on the SP. Results would reflect previous years difficult climate which everyone is aware of. Current rise is built on on the hopes of return to travel 3 months time and the success of the vaccines. I’m expecting 220-230 by close of the week. IMHO.
