I think they should replace dividends with share buyback. Company market cap is 500 mln. If they have and income of 250 mln for the year, they could purchase half the outstanding shares at these prices. That alone will double the share price. And continue the buybacks till we reach a fair value for the business.
No dividends please this year.
For surplus cash it would be good for RR to invest in its growth instead of paying dividends and stock buyback. It should target to be a bigger company like GE. Add new products, newer technology, etc which seems to be already doing.
This will help the share price more. I don’t think people here are invested for dividends - they are looking more at capital growth, 2,3 times the current share price.
For the SP to be £7 (market cap £70 bln) it needs to have revenue upwards of £20 Bln upwards which is not too far from current £15 or so. Will likely happen in next few years hopefully.
