Not too far back we were 150 and looking towards 200.
Pandemic restrictions have gone since then and travel is on recovery.
Defence business outlook is brighter than before, with the ongoing war.
Renewable/SMR business should do better with countries moving to remove dependency on fossil fuels, esp after the war.
With all indicators better than few months back, and with ftse index also higher, why has the share price taken such a beating.
Finding really hard to understand.
There is a good chance that we see 100+ sometime this year. Imho, DYOR

“If people continue eating chocolate its unlikely Thorntons will go bust.
If people continue wearing clothes its unlikely Debenhams will go bust.
etc etc”
I think it may not be fair analogy as people actually stopped going to Thornton’s and Debenhams.
Here the people want to go to cineworld but we have had a pandemic, which you’d agree won’t last forever.
If people come back to cinema, as they seem to be, it’s highly unlikely it will go bust. Will be in some financial stress for some short time but once the pandemic is past us it will likely recover.
Happy to hold for a year or two and hopefully get some good returns.
All imo, I could be wrong.
It’s been two weeks since omicron cases found here in UK. Did anyone needed hospitalisation?
If anyone did then would have been headline in the media.
I believe all are fine and recovered in 2-3 days. This seems less severe than flu and more like the common cold.
Seems all the bad omicron news is confirmed first, more contagious, evades vaccines, evaded antibodies , etc
The good news that it’s not deadly or hospitalising, while being observed, is not being highlighted enough by media and politicians.
Copying from a news article
“ The doctors are conducting their tests, including HRCT and other tests such as D-dimer, but none of them reported any complications. In Omicron-positive patients, involvement of lungs has not been found yet, which was quite common among Delta patients. "None of the nine patients have lost their taste or smell. This is unlike the Delta variant. Also, none of them has any difficulty in breathing and they do not require any oxygen," said Dr Bhandari, who added that they are constantly monitoring the situation in South Africa, where the Omicron variant is taking a toll on the health of the people.”
Just waiting to hear the world announce easing of the travel restrictions now that the omicron is found to be damp squib.
And we could be back in 140s.
Any good news on RR trading update and perhaps we could see a rise like we saw few weeks back (100 to 147 type)
Imo. DYOR.
