Avacta already have ODD for soft tissue sarcoma. Dr Tap now enrolling STS patient for Avacta's phase 1 trial.

Active enrolment has now begun for soft tissue sarcoma patients to the phase 1 clinical trial in the US, led by Dr William D. Tap, Chief of the Sarcoma Medical Oncology Service at MSK, and Dr Lee D. Cranmer, Professor at the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutch Cancer Center

It is so important. Avacta now enrolling soft tissue sarcoma patients into the trial via Dr Tap. AVA6000 is designed to treat these types of tumours.

and it's pretty obvious with Dr Tap dosing patients with STS and Avacta already stating they are concentrating on STS going forward.
Then there is the orphan drug Designation already given to Avacta

Am I right in thinking with Dr Tap dosing patients that have STS, which is what AVA6000 is designed to treat he can the measure whether AVA6000 is effacious. Essentially doing a phase 2 trial in phase 1?

It's feel to me it's massive news that the trial has opened in the USA with Dr Tap involved and already planning phase 1b out there.
