I would imagine it's down to trying to get in with the UK government and pass the equivalent of the phase 3a validation. Otherwise surely they would have ce marked it and started selling.

Avacta also still aren't iso 13845 certified. Looking to back to an August (I think) RNS they mention they are making excellent progress with this.

That's debatable. Al tried to produce a saliva based test that never made it to market after target dates of last summer. He then released news late last year saying he was making an anterior nasal test with no reason given why the saliva test hasn't made it to market. Its now dragging on for unknown reasons? To me anyway.

Wyndrum, agreed. That's why I'm surprised the SP has remained so stable. I see that as a big positive. With the amount of people involved being the scenes people must be in the know.

If the government are paying for example £5 each for the innova tests the latest contract at 1.2bn is going to get them 240 million tests. That's going to last a while isn't it! Even if it was agreed early March This may be a touchy subject, but pretty important!
